Prices are reasonable, portions ample, food was good, but not outstanding. Service was fine. We went on a Monday afernoon, and there were four other tables with people at them. It wasn't "packed" and thus it was easy to converse. We sat near the door, which wouldn't have been my first choice, but it was fine.

The food is great, staff is friendly, the summer tea thai cocktail is to die for and the prices are reamly fair for a good amount of delicious food!

We really enjoyed the food and the quaint decor straight from Thailand. Dining area is small but cozy with lots of windows looking out onto the street. Service was very friendly, they were great at explaining some of the unique dishes on the menu. They had many common Thai dishes you find but many you don't, which was fun. The... More

I liked the food even though my Pad Thai was ok and my friend's curry was too salted. On the other hand the vegetable pancake and the fried rice were very good. The staff was friendly enough and efficient but the place was packed and a bit too noisy for easy conversation.

We read the reviews of previous guests and agree with the Authenticity statement.3 of us had different items plus shared 2 orders of fresh spring rolls, the rolls were excellent and really fresh, I had curried fish dumplings and the other 2 people both had different chicken curry noodle dishes. We all agreed that it was great and more then... More

This sweet little restaurant makes excellent Khao Soi, a Northern Thai curry soup. It's as good as you get in Chiang Mai. Their other Northern Thai dishes are excellent as well. The trout, YUM! The Miang Kam appetizer is made with the appropriate chaplu leaves, no spinach substitutions here. This is our favorite Thai restaurant in Portland. Try it, you... More

Excellent Thai food that is very authentic! We just got back from Thailand and we were very pleased with our meal! The owners are from Chiang Mai and you can tell! Cannot wait to come back and keep tasting the menu! Great alternative options, too!

We visited as one of our last honeymoon stops - what a find! I consider myself to be a fair judge of Thai food and this place floored me. The lunch portion of Tom kha was amazing, spiced to perfection, great presentation. The pork belly special was just as good. One waitress that handled the full dining room with ease.... More

I'll flat say that this is the BEST Thai in PDX. Not huge inside so go early or prepare to wait. We've done both eat in and take out, both are excellent. Portions are good but the flavors are outstanding.

The soups are amazing, but every dish there is good. It's a fun spot on Hawthorne - walk over to Bazi after!

Wonderful, authentic, Northern Thai dishes. The specials are over the top. A lot of them aren't usually found in restaurants in and around Chiang Mai - to experience them you need to sit down at a family gathering. Everything obviously made with care, and love.
