Always fun to find a restaurant with a unique vibe, both in ambience and food. This Peruvian hotspot is located in a repurposed shopping mall building. The two level dining area shares the space with another restaurant. Noisy and bustling with live music in the...More

Our server, Dave P., was a true professional. Attentive, informative, but not intrusive in any way. Made excellent suggestions, and extremely helpful to my wife who is vegetarians and at the time was on a special strict diet. She had the soup of the day...More

The service was excellent. The food was excellent. But ...I found the portions to be on the small side. I left hungry and I have never been a member of the clean-plate club! I also don't enjoy eating just one thing at a time. I...More

Visited here for a work dinner, and I couldn't have been more impressed. We had a pretty large group, and our waiter didn't miss a beat with making sure our drinks and food arrived in a timely manner. The waiter also did a great job...More

Well, its a nice place in a good location, but don't come here expecting high value. THey focus on I guess what is native Peruvian cuisine adapted to American tastes. However, something got lost in the exchange rate since entrees are in the $25-$30+ range....More

The restaurant is totally what is is hyped up to be in my opinion. Waiters are extremely knowledgeable about the menu. The food was excellent and they had some really good wines available by the glass.

This was a real surprise and a must-visit if you are interested in a little more exotic fare. Not inexpensive but offers a unique selection of tapas-style foods.

We came for dinner on a recommendation. So glad we did. I chose the scallop dinner, husband had the traditional lomo saltado--a Peruvian beef specialty. Delish. Finished with decaf coffee, which normally is not worth mentioning. This was really extra fine, imported from Peru. Server...More

My family and I visited after a long travel day to see family in the ICU at Good Samaritan. We were in need of good food and drink to wash away some of the stress of the day. We ordered margaritas that started it off...More

Description
Andina draws inspiration from the native culinary traditions of Peru, as well as from the contemporary cooking by some of Peru’s leading chefs. Owner Doris Rodriguez de Platt, collaborates with Andina’s kitchen team to develop a menu that celebrates her family’s Andean roots, interweaving the ideas and techniques of both Criollo and Novo-Andean cuisines. The kitchen sources native and local ingredients to create dishes at once traditionally rooted and personally inspired. Founded in 2003, Andina emerged as one of the region’s leading Peruvian restaurants and continues to generate wide appeal within the food communities in and around Portland, and much further afield.
