They have great coffee here & glad they're coming back! I usually get a house coffee and request a special item -- heavy cream. They are always accommodating. Sometimes I get a breakfast treat (usually some type of coffee cake or muffin). All the bakery items I've tried have been really good. I've had one of the breakfast sandwiches and... More

There are three Jim and Patty's. Our maiden trip was to the old coffee people store in Beaverton. This is new with a bigger menu and more breakfast items. The pig newtons are evil and so delicious and reasonably priced I am thinking about breakfast again. Great service, great coffee, great food.

Very nice place for a breakfast treat. Delicious breakfast cakes along with the usual breakfast fair. A little difficult for handicapped people. The staff is awesome!

If you don't have food restrictions this place is great. I got their one gluten free option, a banana bread or something and it was SO dry and gross, they should immediately discontinue making it or buying it! Get some better options!

This neighborhood coffee shop offers everything you expect and a little more. Great coffee, baked goods, breakfast sandwiches and "prison food" (day old bakery goods). Comfortable seating inside and outside and great big windows to bring the rest of the world in. Prices are reasonable. Food is fresh.

I went in because I was in the area and didn't want to drive all the way to my favorite place in SE. I figured coffee and a bagel is about the same anywhere. I wish I had turned around when I saw how dark and cold it was inside. After charging an EXTRA $1.50 to add cream cheese to... More

Great little coffee/breakfast shop in a strip mall. Atmosphere was upbeat and social. Coffee was great and the egg sandwiches were delicious. The nuts on the coffee cake were a pleasant surprise.

Their coffe menu is diverse, they have almond "milk" on the menu, and they don't make you feel guilty for ordering it. I love their spicy lattes. Thank you j&p for being better than all the rest.

A longtime staple of PDX, Jim and Patty originally started Coffee People, which most portlanders know from the airport. They also started Motor Moka, the original drive through coffee place on the west coast. Today it's just Jim and Patty's two places, one in NE Portland and the other in Beaverton. Baked goods here are unparalleled, particularly the coffee cakes.... More
