This review is about 5 months overdue. Myself and my 2 kids as wel,as my sister, her husband and twin girls aged 13 stopped for one night. We really had no problems with the room and found the welcome warm. We had enjoyed a beautiful drive through Crater lake and even had snow and mist clear for a 20 minute... More

On the night these folks visited an employee did have a family emergency and we were running short staffed on a very busy night and thus were slow. We apologized to all present and everyone else was fine. Then this fellow got upset, made a scene and created a loud disturbance, scaring his daughter and our server to the point... More

Older facility, that thinks they are really good. The people were nice and friendly, but it was the only game in town, so it was over-priced for my taste. In the summer I can see the rates, but not in Sept.

Hi Robert, We are an older facility; as the Hotel is 128 years old. That is why we are on the State and National Register of Historic places; and it says Historic in our name. I am glad that you found our staff to be nice and friendly. We coach them all the time to have fun at work and... More

We stayed in the motel and dined at the restaurant. Food was amazing. The staff was attentive and helpful. Motel was a bit dated but clean. The waterfall hikes and great food more than made up for it.

Ate here for the two nights of our stay in the hotel. Very good service. Food is excellent in all respects and moderately priced. Worth trying this restaurant.

We noticed this quaint beautifully appointed historic hotel on a walk into Prospect from where we had parked our small motorhome at Prospect RV Park. When we walked closer to investigate we met one of the managers outside sweeping the veranda who invited us in to look around. The rooms in the historic part of the hotel are named for... More

Quaint hotel with lovely veranda and rocking beds and chairs. Staff that we met were friendly. Hotel has rooms upstairs. We stayed in the motel part walking distance from the hotel itself. The furniture in the motel rooms is very old. Big box t.v. Motel room very clean indeed. Our bed had a thick and hard plastic sheet on it.... More

The best thing about the place was the server. Have to make reservation for breakfast even if you are staying at the motel. They opened at 7:30 am, which is really too late if you want to avoid the crowds at Crater Lake.

We had no idea what to expect at this little out-of-the way spot, but we were delightfully and deliciously surprised. The atmosphere was lovely, the server was top-notch, and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend a visit there but would advise calling for reservations.

The restaurant is outstanding. Great wine list. All meals were delicious to the eye and to the palate. Could compete against any steak house.

Dined here because of the Trip Advisor reviews. What planet did those reviewers come from, REALLY?? We had the prime rib dinner, everything about it was sub-par. My title says it all. The thing that really got to me was the waitress, she was WAY TOO LOUD and she didn't pickup that we were not in a chatty mood. Blah,... More

All of our servers are extremely enthusiastic about our region. They are very knowledgeable and really enjoy telling folks about the 3 waterfalls you can walk to from our front door, and the beautiful 5+ acres of our property to explore. Let alone the Rogue River and all it's wonders on your way to Crater Lake National Park. Apparently this... More
