We stopped in here for lunch with my family. The decor is basic but the atmosphere is welcoming. The food choice was small but fresh and fast service. If you're passing by on a walk it's worth a visit.

The pub was as good as we remembered it. We again had a great lunch, and the publican was very friendly, even to wandering Aussies! Fine selection of ales, a welcoming fire hits the spot in a chilly winter and dogs are more than welcome!...More

Popped out here on the off chance for Sunday lunch. Friendly welcome and lovely roast. Really hot and well presented, however would have liked another slice of meat. One and a bit small slices was not enough for us! Will definitely return though.
