Tiny restaurant. Only really makes tamales; an old lady in the back works hard all day. Most people take away, 2$ each. Four kinds; chicken, pork, bar b cued pork and cheddar with jalapeño. Service fast and good, parking, but creeps me out. Sell dozens at a special price for the holidays. Really thick masa, flavorful meat, but does a... More

Little storefront shop in Tigard along Pacific Hwy. Visited several times for tamales. Good price, friendly people, and tasty food. My daughter loves the tamales and I enjoy as well. I would stay away from the BBQ pork tamale. Not sure how they decided that a bbq pork would make a good tamale, but.... The traditional tamales are very good.

I had heard about this place from coworkers when I first started working in Tigard. Ok I thought this should be good so I went there for lunch. The place or at least the dining area for customers is very small. There are a few booths but a line quickly formed and those sitting and waiting for their food and/or... More

Tamale House has other offerings, but I only go there for their wonderful tamales. I buy them four at a time, take out. Then I have them at home for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The tamales' fillings are very generous and taste great. Make this part of your home menu. They do sell out of some flavors, so go early.

Tamales taste good, however customer service didn't impressed me, when we first got there no one welcomed us, or tell us how to order, they didn't have coffe or champurrado which is a must have when you are eating tamales, next time I'll make sure I'll bring my own drink

Good early to get the best selection. As the name implies, they serve hand-made tamales. The fare is straightforward and very good.

The tamales are great, the salsa is amazing and the beans and rice are very mediocre. Skip the beans and rice and get an extra tamale. Clean location and warm friendly service.

Pork Carnitas Burrito was excellent. good size, it will fill you up. I liked the seasoning used on rice. Salsa was great. Must have with burrito. Tamale was big but too much corn meal....would be nice if a bit smaller and moist. This is also great with salsa. Great service. I want to go back for another burrito.

We go here for lunch from work occasionally. Best chili rellenos around but you have to get there early as they sell out quickly. Their "signature" tamales are fine. Good prices, friendly place. Only 4 tables, but they do a lot of carryout.

I have been wanting to stop in here for about a month. I love homemade tamales (from growing up in Arizona and having an ex family member who was Mexican who made wonderful ones). I ordered a couple chicken tamales and a couple cheese/jalapeno tamales. Although they were good, they had a bit too much masa (dough) for me. I... More
