New operational plan is to use "volunteers" to make rooms available and give tours so the state can make money. No restaurant services so be ready for a gourmet sandwich from the local gas station, dirty old rooms, without TV, wi-fi, or any basic creature comforts. Building looks abandoned, overgrown and dirty. Can't even keep the grass mowed. Hey Oregon... More

Flying down I-5 we decided we were starving so took the first recommendation that came up on the GPS. What a delightful surprise. A genuine stage stop and restaurant. First time I've been told by a restaurants' clients, "Oh just come on in and sit anywhere, they'll get to you." Well they were right we did get service and the... More

This was our third time to eat at Wolf Creek and our third time to love it. We went twice before to crab feeds that were spectacular with all the trimmings. This time was crawdads with all the trimmings. While I swear I will never again try to eat something as foul tasting and messy as a crawdad, everybody else... More

We stopped in for lunch and were pleased to find this place; a 19th century stage stop in first rate condition with tasty food. And if you have an electric car, you can recharge here (neither here nor there for us). Anyway, it is quite pretty, well maintained and we liked the food. The only downside was they only had... The food was generous and ample. It was well worth the stop off the freeway for that alone. In addition to that you are eating where many luminaries from President Hayes to Jack London have stayed. Staying or eating at the Inn is an outstanding historical adventure and the food is plentiful and delicious too. There is nothing pretentious about... More

My husband and I took our in laws here for lunch yesterday, and had a delightful time at the wolf creek inn. The food was fresh and tasty, we left full. If you go there be sure and ask to see the room that "Jack London" slept in, and oh yes, "Clark Gable" used to stay here too. Another time... More

Noticed the National Historic signs for Wolf Creek Inn and were glad we stopped for lunch. My husband had the grilled cheese with real ham and I tried the roasted turkey open face with real mashed potatoes. Both were excellent, with very large portions. No room for desert. Our meals were served quickly and the staff was very friendly, encouraging... More

This restaurant in the historical Wolf Creek Inn makes an incredibly great punctuation mark to this location. The food is wonderful, the service was warm, inviting and knowledgeable. If ever in your plans-visit the Inn and enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.

This restaurant serves down home cookin' in a relaxed friendly atmosphere. I had fried chicken there like I had not tasted in decades. It's an easy swing off I-5 so I'd definitely recommend stopping by for good food in this historic inn.
