Husband and I are all about local, non-farmed fish. We were passing through Yachats for the night and our hotel host recommended Luna Sea Fish House. Great recommendation, we really loved this place! And the prices were so reasonable. We loved that the fish and chips are available fried OR grilled, for a healthier alternative. We also love that the... More

For fresh seafood, Luna Sea was tasty and fun. They also sell fresh seafood in the store, with vinyl table cloths, and home made tartar sauce, this local dive served their local fresh catches in a small little storefront shop. We had the fish tacos that were really superb, and highly recommended, and included several of the fresh catches.

The best No-frills fish house in Yachats. Service was quick and the fish was terrific. The whole family loved their dinners.

Luna's friendly, no-frills diner puts a premium on the freshest seafood possible -- on the plate and for market purchase. Flexible menu options also make it worth a stop. Examples: order half the fish and chips with classic beer batter and the other half grilled; choose between salmon, halibut or ling cod; substitute a salad for the chips with the... More

Don't pass up this little gem. Small, simple, friendly, clean, delicious, fresh. Obviously a local hangout, but travelers are welcome. The captain who brings in the fresh fish may be there to welcome you. Fish and chips using your choice of a variety of FRESH fish, and you can have it fried or grilled. Hubby had the grilled halibut, I... More

My girlfriends and I were told about the Luna Sea Fish House and tried it for dinner. The fish tacos were delicious. The owner was there, greeting diners and making sure we enjoyed our meal. The wine was very good too. The tacos had lots of fresh fish, nothing fried, and a big dollop of guacamole! The side salad was... More

My wife and I were visiting from England and we reckon we know a little about fish and chips... We arrived for lunch with expectations of average American take on our fast food, we were delighted to be totally wrong. The chips and the fried shrimp were really decent but the fried Halibut was possibly the best fried fish I've... More

It's a small little "restaurant" located in a seafood market. Quite rustic, but the clam chowder is fantastic! I was hungry, and wasn't sure if one bowl of chowder would suffice, but that and oyster crackers, with garlic bread and a beer was plenty to satisfy my appitite. My wife had the shrimp cocktail and a glass of chardonnay. She... More
