We stopped by for a Sunday lunch. It was delicious. Be sure you try their homemade soup. I had the grilled cheese, onion rings. It was very good. They had homemade cookies unfortunately it is lent and I gave up sweets but I would definitely take some home. Be sure to stop next door for a coffee drink for the... More

We landed at the Birds Nest with our family group of 10 plus a toddler, having found it by checking reviews on trip advisor. They were able to seat our large party with only a small wait and provided excellent service. They food was great and several in our party had some variation of their crazy grilled cheese with soup.... More

I've been here several times and it is my "go to" breakfast/lunch spot in Bedford. The service has improved tremendously since it first opened and the food is consistently outstanding. The atmosphere is quite quaint, with cookies on display for sale when you walk in the front door. Lots of old tables and chairs, benches, etc., and they recently expanded... More

We had a wonderful breakfast at this super quaint restaurant in Bedford. The food was fresh and yummy. My only regret was that we weren't able to go there another day for lunch. The Crabcake Benedict was sooooo good!

We were at Bedford Springs on our annual January escape after the holidays. The trail from the resort to town is done, 1.7 miles, and it was 67 degrees out on January 12th! Walked down and had a great lunch. Large selection warm excellent decor. Service was friendly and so helpful. Heard wonderful things about their breakfast. Next trip making... More

We stopped by for a late lunch and had a lovely meal. Food is healthy, good fare, home made, and delicious. Service unexceptional, but the food was great. There are baked goods to go that are out of this world; reasonably priced and beautifully decorated.

We waited twenty five minutes to be seated and then waited over an hour after we placed our order. One of our children was hungry, so we asked for a piece of bread to tide him over. No bread. Finally the food arrived. I had the crazy grilled cheese sandwich with tomato basil soup and chips. I shared sides of... More

Friendly staff, unique menu descriptions, reasonable price, Delectable vittles professionally prepared by the owner to perfection. Their freshly prepared bakery items are a keeper for larger in the morning refreshment.
