We enjoyed the atmosphere and all the delicious homemade food. Nothing tasted warmed over. We ate at 3:00 on a Wednesday after the 11:00 Sight and Sound show. There was no line, no wait. Great time to go.

I felt sorry for the wait staff, as the place was packed! It took longer than usual to get our meals and small things like refills of drinks or requests for condiments just could not be accommodated in a timely manner. The meal was just okay, and the prices reasonable. Not a memorable stop.
We always eat at the Bird In Hand Family Restaurant when we visit. Whether it is for breakfast, lunch dinner or just a snack or a show, we always have a great time and the meals are very filling and take good as well.
Great buffet breakfast. Good variety and good pricing. Kids were priced based on age so you pay less for smaller kids. We ate here twice in two days.
Went here for lunch buffet on way to Amish villages, and had a great meal. The buffet selection was tremendous. They had some of just about anything you'd want from soup & salad to entrees. The wait staff were helpful & couteous. I highly recommend this family restaurant.
Our immediate family and mother of 90 had a table set up god 11 people. We were set at a comfortable place and each couple could pay for own meal. This restaurant is well worth the trip! The buffet is really large and has a nice variety of items to choose from. It has a great salad bar and dessert bar as well. The fried chicken is some of the best I have tasted anywhere. You simply cannot go wrong eating here. You can get the buffet or order from... More
Big, bright, bustling and touristy, Bird In Hand restaurant is a must-visit experience when visiting Amish country. The food is plentiful, hearty, fresh and served with a smile. Tip: We came on a busy night and found open seats at the counter. Same food, service and prices and no wait for a table!
Arrived at 12:45pm for a reservation for party of 3 at 1pm. Didn't get seated (literally) until 1:30pm. There are only 3 chairs in the waiting area - everyone stands! The food was very good - actually great - but I wouldn't go again to stand for 45 minutes while waiting.
