My husband and I were driving on Route 222 and were on the lookout for an ice cream establishment. We were looking for something like a Dairy Queen and almost missed Premise Maid. That would've been a tragedy. We drove up to their quaint, charming and heart-filled store. What a surprise to find The Blues Brothers (looked like a Seward... More

They have gifts such as ornaments tea towels teacher items and many other one of a kind gifts. They also have a bakery that has the best cakes and pies. Workers... More

A chocolate and ice cream store, what more do you need. Huge store right on 222 PA. Decent parking, and did I say chocolate ! Bars, boxes, bags and jars. Gifts and trinkets available. Separate baking and ice cream area. Great prices too. Pies are $9 and loaf cakes $7. This is a pretty big store and there is an... More

Premise Maid is a very popular place for candy and ice cream. At holiday times, there are special candies and goodies and gifts available. Allow yourself plenty of time because there is lots to look at and the check out line gets long. Conveniently on the corner on Route 222 just outside the town of Maxatawny.

We stop in just about every summer on our drive to a horse farm. The home made ice cream is so rich and creamy. The size of the scope they serve is really large. There are large pieces of candy and chocolate in their ice cream. There is an entire store filled with home made chocolates and gifts. The dark... More

Today we stopped by the Premise Maid Ice Creamery to get away from the heat and all the truck traffic. We really enjoyed our delicious Rum Raison and Chocolate Cashew Turtle cones while sitting indoors where it was nice and cool.
