We got takeout here last night. Other than not being told a total on the phone or the fact that they are cash only, the service was good. I ended up having to leave and drive to the bank to get cash. The cost was a lot more than I was expecting, but the food was definitely on point. We... More

If you have never tried real Indian food. Don't worry, Gigi will take care of you. He is hands down the best chef of indian food. And there family is the sweetest. No doubt about it. I personally know them and another family favorite for sure.

Great food, great atmosphere, friendly family business. I eat at Indian restaurants everywhere I go, and I travel quite often (over a dozen countries and across the US). This was unusually good food. The range of flavors and textures was excellent, the bread was fresh, and the spice range (1-10) allowed me to enjoy a shockingly hot 10 while my... More

Love this family run restaurant. They are the friendliest most accommodating restaurant. We gab been several times and tried most of the food and haven't had a bad thing. I highly recommend the coffee after your meal.

My husband and I love Indian food, and this place is our favorite, after just 2 visits! Palak paneer, Crab Goa and Bombay Naan are a few of our favorites on the menu.

When I went to Cafe Bombay, it was my first time. I couldn't go to any other restaurants because it was rather cramped, terrible food, or just plain old "No." So I was a little worried. Indian food was okay, but the spice was the problem. SO imagine my surprise when you could CHOOSE how spicy you want it! I... More

When I first heard of an Indian Restaurant in Bristol, I was skeptical for sure. It just didn't seem like the place to find good Indian food. I was wrong x 1 million. Cafe Bombay is OUTSTANDING. Absolutely delicious. And more important, a dish and spice level for ANYONE. I am a huge fan of the tikka and tikka masala.... More

If you love Indian food this place is a gem! Parking is easy and free behind the bank, the staff is friendly and the food is outstanding. Eat in or take out. The Samoa's are to die for! Love all of the sauces and crank the heat to a spicy number six.

When we first moved to Bristol, we were skeptical of its Indian restaurant, especially since my boyfriend is a native of NYC who loves Indian food. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that the food is amazing! Each dish is fresh and carefully prepared, and we now have our favorites. I always order the Chicken Makhani, and it is wonderful... We at Cafe Bombay are a family based restaurant dedicated to providing excellent authentic Indian cuisine. Since Indian cuisine varies from region to region, we have tried to include a sampling of dishes from the entire country reflecting the varied taste of different regions. The recipes of entrees included are time tested with correct combination of herbs and spices.

We believe homemade food is always better. To serve the most authentic food, we make our own yogurt and cheese everyday. Our food is cooked with minimum of oil and no MSG. We do not use any preservatives. Everything is cooked fresh from scratch in our kitchen. While practicing authentic Indian cuisine, we also use our own imagination and creativity to introduce new and innovative dishes.

We hope you will have a satisfying dinning experience at Cafe Bombay restaurant. Since customer satisfaction is our ultimate goal, we welcome any comments or suggestions on ways to improve your dining experience.
