This is my favorite restaurant in the state of Pennsylvania. Every dish you pick is full of flavor and is satisfying everytime. It is a family owned business which is even better and the staff is so friendly. Anytime I go to eat, I pick...to go here. I think there are good prices as well for what you are eating. My favorite meal is pollo a la brasa con arroz chaufa y ensalada. The food here is fresh and and handmade. My happy place :)More
I am "stuck on" the Papa Rellena, the salad with the green dressing and the chicken fried rice.. It is literally the best chicken fried rice ever. Beats the Chinese version by a mile. If you have not been here you've got to try it....You will not be disappointed.More
Have been to a lot of high end restaurant and this place certainly tops the list. Everything is great with such unique flavor to each dish. And top it off with great service!
Aircon not on/not working properly One server for whole restaurant...patience required Ordered appetisers and 3 out of 4 of us ordered Peruvian grilled chicken mains. Appetisers ok and generous portions See photo of Cerviche. Couple came in sat opposite us and ordered chicken x2. Server...came over 5 mins later and said no chicken left. No real apology just matter of fact announcement. 5 minutes later couple got their chicken. We aren't locals: but this was blatant. Not what you'd expect from such a well rated restaurantMore
Easy to see why they're #1 on TA for Chambersburg. Comfortable, colorful low key environment, excellent food and easy on the wallet. 10/10!!
The varied menu and flavors were a happy surprise -- way beyond the standard Peruvian grilled chicken -- in a non-descript strip mall with a gun shop and hair salons in small-city Pennsylvania. The portions were huge at reasonable prices. One tip: The rice-and-beans "pancake"...was much tastier than the featured fried rice dish.More
Wow 1st time trying Peruvian food and it was delicious. I ordered Mofongo with Shrimp and it was great! Zully was a very sweet waitress. Highly recommend this place.
Stopped in while in Chambersburg and wanted to try a new place. Trip Advisor had this casual little Peruvian restaurant, Inka Kitchen, rated #1 in town. It was indeed very good and prices more than reasonable! The ceviche appetizer was excellent! I tried the Mfungo...with chicken. The 1/4 chicken was flavorful and done perfectly and, while the Mfungo was subtly flavorful. My partner enjoyed the churrasco de pollo, a chicken breast pounded flat with tomato and other veggies on top. (looked kind of like bruschetta). Service was friendly and appropriately attentive. They seemed to have an active carry out business, as well as about 10-15 tables. No alcohol but we were told we could BYOB. I would definitely return!More
Absolutely delicious food, very friendly and helpful server. We had the chufa - rice, veggies scrambled egg with chicken/shrimp. The seasonings were spot on. We were traveling through PA, and found this restaurant listed on Trip Advisor. It was a real find!
As always - perfect. We always enjoy our time spent here. The food is always great plus the attendants are always welcoming
We followed the advice of Tripadvisor reviewers, and we are glad we did! We had such a great experience!!! About 20 people were celebrating a birthday - plus there were other customers, too. However, the lady who was serving us was very efficient and cheerful...We received our meals in no time at all, and they were amazing! My son had spaghetti with shrimp in an interesting Peruvian sauce, and I had ceviche for the first time in my life. I was a little apprehensive before, but this raw fish marinated with lime, cilantro and onions was very flavorful and went well with the mashed potatoes and avocado. We shared a very rich flan for dessert - a real treat. The bill was extremely reasonable, too! The restaurant does not serve alcohol, but there is B.Y.O.B.More
They have their good days and bad days. When it’s good, it’s very good. When it’s bad, it’s bland and lousy. But this last time I went in the beans and broccoli were not seasoned. And the chicken tasted old. I complained about the broccoli and...beans not having any salt or seasoning this time. The waitress went to the kitchen for a minute and came back and told me that she thought it tasted fine but if I wanted, she could take my food back to the kitchen and add some seasoning to it. I feel like she could’ve offered to bring the seasoning to me, or offered me salt, or at least not tell me that it was fine. That’ll be the last time I go there.More
Inka Kitchen has exceptional quality food and an impressive menu. If you’re a local or passing through on I-81, like we were, this restaurant is definitely worth checking out. We were impressed with our entrees and the kind friendly service we received. Definitely will try...to visit again when we’re in the area.More
