This is one of the few quaint spots in the area. The new menus bring the Old House into the 21st century, but the food remains the same, delicious, simple stuff they've always had. The service is always excellent too. great place to get breakfast with friends from out of town. The oatmeal (with fixings) is yummy!

What a wonderful "house" for breakfast or lunch. the atmosphere is very unique, the service is friendly, and the food is always delicious, soups that are homemade, and something special comes with your sandwich all the time. And coffee that tastes like coffee. if you are passing through, a definite place to stop....

Great staff, solid food, everything you want from breakfast! Nothing fancy, but everything you need with very nice waitresses to talk to. Best breast I had in a 5 day trip to the area. Worth a 10 minute drive from Wilkes Barre if you're in the area

Met up with 3 friends for what we thought might be a quick breakfast on a weekday morning at about 10 a.m. Breakfast was very good, priced averaging about $8 per person - but the service was pretty slow. There were at best 2 other tables being served at the time. Granted, the place is not a drive thru where... More

We stopped there for breakfast and had a fabulous experience. The little olde house is so quaint and the food is made to order. I had Blueberry pancakes with lots of blueberries and it was delicious. The coffee was hot and tasted freshly brewed. I can't wait to return for lunch.

Just a great meal with a wonderful server in an old little house. We had the buffalo chicken and steak sandwich which were specials. Perfect amount of food and it was still hot. Everything was just right.
