My girlfriend and I stopped in for some food and drinks on a Saturday night. It was busy but that did not affect our service. Waitress was nice and friendly. Food was delicious. We had the bacon beer mussels for an appetizer. They were good. I would highly recommend the Jerk Burger. My girlfriend got a Cubano on gluten free... More

Great place to meet friends to have a bite to eat and a microbrew. Their pretzels are delish! They have a nice bar and pleasant seating.

I've been here a handful of times over the past few years and each time it changes a little bit. It went from being this cute little brewpub to moving into an expanded space. The menu just a few months ago was larger with lots of selections. Now it's quite a bit smaller with not so much to choose from.... More

I had the pulled pork based on a recommendation from a local. Maybe it was an off night, but it wasn't very good. The double chocolate stout made up for the food though. Good prices and good brews.

I really loved the food better than ever, they left my friend and I enjoy our beer eat our food with no rushing, sometimes when you go out to eat they rush you but we had a lovely evening catching up. And I will say again we both had the pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious

My husband likes hoppy beers so Old Forge Brewing Company fit his taste! We always order nachos are breweries and the pulled pork nachos were loaded with toppings the way we like them! Tuesdays are trivia night, we didn't join the trivia games this time. But, if we are ever back in Danville on a Tuesday we will definitely join... More

Some of the beers that were offered were very good, others were not so. Had an appetizer and a hamburger that was really good. It was a bit noisy because of the high ceilings.

Pretty typical craft beer restaurant bar. Thought they had many more items on menu but very limited. However the crab cake sandwich was excellent and the Rebel red ale pretty good also.

Meeting friends for the open mic night. Music was wonderfully entertaining. Beer was very good....so long as your a "hop-head". Meaning, in my opinion, every style is loaded with hops....even if the style does not require it. Menu has changed lately, gotten smaller, removing some of the local favorites. My Wife was disappointed that her go-to Salad was gone....she ordered... More

Th craft beers are varied so any one could find one they like. The food is generally good bar food. The noise is a barrier to conversation. The bands are good but that adds to the noise if you want to talk to your companions

Old Forge Brewing Company is a fun, casual, comfortable brewpub specializing in healthy pub fare and fresh brewed beer. Our country was built on the skills and labor of old-world artisanal craftsmen. Woodworkers, carpenters, stonemasons, ironworkers, blacksmiths, tileworkers, and many others came here and employed the knowledge and skills of their craft in building their farms, homes, and towns.Nowadays, it is so easy and convenient to purchase generic products from big-box stores, that we sometimes neglect to appreciate the uniqueness and quality of a hand-crafted product. At Old Forge Brewing Company, we strive to honor personal craftsmanship. Our hand-crafted beer is made in small batches to ensure quality and peak freshness, while the healthy and delicious menu has ingredients sourced from local farms and markets wherever possible. Take the time to notice our bar, furniture, and fixtures which were all handcrafted by local wood and metal worker Keith Kocher (Lightstreet Custom Woodworking). Check out our unique tap handles carved and forged by local artist/sculptor J. Mark Irwin (Irwin Sculpture Studio), and our plates, bowls, and beer mugs, all hand-made by local potter Mike Hart (M. Hart Pottery). We welcome you to stop by and visit us on Mill Street in downtown Danville. Have a bite to eat, sip a fresh pint of beer, and enjoy the friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Leave your troubles on the doorstep and let us take care of the rest.
