Crab is a favorite of mine and the Crab Norfork dish here is superb. Lump crab with garlic and spices baked in a butter sauce is unforgettable. Combines with hot bread, Caesar Salad, baked potato and a cold brew makes a mighty meal. This was...More

The meal was excellent, our waiter was very accommodating, will definitely go back again. My one complaint was the Cole slaw was tasty, but too stringy, the cabbage should of been cut smaller.

Wait staff are very friendly and the crab cakes are excellent. Decor is nautical and tables are spaced far enough apart so you have some privacy. Desserts are good too!

Food is always consistently good. We especially like the fillets. They will prepare heart healthy and gluten free. Which we both require. Prices are consistent. You should register with Royalty rewards. They often send out deals for birthdays and Anniversaries. Use them!!! They will NOT...More

This restaurant has that classic old-school feel but without being behind the times. It reminds me of places I went with my parents growing up, and you don't see a lot of that anymore. The seafood always seems fresh, lots of choices on the menu,...More

The first sign that this is a highly-successful place was that the entire large parking lot was filled - EVERY space. I had my little car and 'made' a spot at the most far away point to walk. Luckily I was with a group of...More

We did not make reservations. It was a Wednesday evening and there were two seats left at the bar. I usually decline to sit at the bar for dinner but my husband was anxious to try their twin tails special on Wednesdays in September. He...More

Always like to try new menu items. I had the Shrimp Florentine and my wife had the Seafood Newburg. Both were excellent choices. Our server was attentive and her timing was perfect. It was a wonderful way to celebrate our anniversary.

To make reservations, please visit us on Open Table! Founded in 1996 the ideas for the Marblehead Chowder House were actually hatched a few years before. Sitting at "The Barnacle," overlooking Marblehead Harbor one raw winter day, while the spume from the rough saltwater painted the windows and the Sam Adams Lager flowed freely, a concept was born. Casual, coastal and cozy - fresh seafood, fin fish, shellfish and hearty chowders in a warm, relaxing atmosphere that says "seaside" - a place that had tradition, patriotism, and a New England heritage about it. Fresh ingredients, house-made soups and chowders, comfort food with a twist freshly prepared to order were all musts! Features unique to New England were the foundation - Ipswich Belly Clams (aka steamers, softshells, pissers), fresh Lobster Roll, a Raw Bar with half-shell oysters and clams and, of course, live Lobsters arriving regularly. Authenticity was crucial - only without the sea breeze, gulls and scent of saltwater. Lighthouses and other nautical decor highlight the ambience to create a coastal dining experience like none other in the greater Lehigh Valley. Our mission is to provide a great place for our employees to work, enabling them to prepare and serve delicious food in a warm, friendly and efficient manner. We want to assure you, our guest, of a memorable visit and encourage you to tell your friends and return often. Your satisfaction is guaranteed or we will make suitable amends.
