We eat here often when visiting Erie several times a year. From the great summer nights to the warmth next to the fireplace on a winter's day. She crab soup and Lake Erie perch are a must! Food and service is always excellent. Prices are reasonable. Nice nautical themed restaurant with separate bar with a nice little aquarium. Definately worth... More

Smugglers Wharf in Erie Pennsylvania gives visitors the "beach feel" without having to travel to the coast. Set on Lake Erie, the views and the ambiance are great, but the food falls short of spectacular. Although much more edible than the chain restaurants I would give it about a 3 out of 5. If you are faced with the choice... More

The view and sunset were Beautiful. Didn't have as many options as I would have liked and a little pricy. Clam chowder was good!

We've tried several times but have never had a great experience. Food is poor to average and the service is about the same. Perch was good.

Frozen, packaged food. This is not fresh fish or seafood. Burnt fish, crab cakes full of bread, dirty dishes stacked everywhere, LONG wait for drinks and service. Do not let the pretty patio flowers fool you into going here. We went back to our hotel hungry.

We found this place while we were passing through Erie. There isn't much in the way of options in the area, and it looked like an interesting place to check out. The service was OK, but a little slow. The food was good, but a little pricey for what we got. The bill for a party of four was just... More

My brother and I and two friends all ordered the grilled prime rib sandwich with portabella mushrooms. Sandwich was excellent.

I have got to tell ya, if you are ever in the Bayfront Erie, PA area during warm weather months you are definitely going to want to experience Smuggler's Warf garden patio dining! AWESOME! Incredibly romantic lakefront views, located right in front of the lighthouse with charming trolley cars passing by as well as charter boats of all kinds and... More

The good: Great atmosphere. The restaurant was not busy and we were seated immediately on a Saturday evening around 8pm. The negatives: Our food came after a somewhat lengthy wait, except for my friends main course which the waitress apologized for; she brought both of her side dishes so she would have something to eat. My fries, steak and rice... More
