We were happy to find this as opposed to another fast food place, when you need a break on your journey. Pleasant waitress. My BLT was good but my husband did not enjoy his pot roast so much. I enjoyed looking around the shop for souvenirs , cards, books etc.

We stopped here for lunch after taking the Yuengling Brewery tour earlier in the day. Food was ok, nothing special, we had the "Rookie" which suppose to be grilled roast beef but it tasted more like "minute" steaks, on grilled rye and fried onions. The Dister (?) hamburger was a hand formed patty but again nothing special. Our waitress was... More

We had a very pleasant lunch at the Dutch Kitchen on our way home from Florida last year and timed our passing through Frackville at lunch time so we could enjoy it again. Once again we were warmly received and seated by the very pleasant and helpful hostess. The coffee was very good and our food arrived quickly. I had... More

This restaurant is a standard stop for my wife and I. We both enjoy it. Simply good food at good prices. Be sure to look around for the extras on sale.

Great breakfasts and lunches. Love there ice tea (unsweetened ). Great omelets, soups and sandwiches. A hometown favorite of ours! Plenty of parking, great staff and cute atmosphere!

My husband and I stopped into the Dutch Kitchen for dinner. we've been there several times before for breakfast. The breakfast are always delicious. We were traveling from Maryland to home and spending the night in Mahoney City. So we decided to have dinner. The dinner and service was wonderful. My husband had a homemade chicken pot pie and I... Conveniently located right off I 81, the Dutch Kitchen is easy to find, has plenty of parking and a large dining room. We were greated with a smile and seated quickly. My lunch was simple a bowl of soup and grilled cheese with coffee. My wife enjoyed a salad with chunks of chicken and coffee. A nice lunch for under... More

My wife and I stopped in for dinner while traveling the PA back roads. We were greeted politely and seated right away. We ordered our meal and I asked if I could add a soup as well. I received the small bowl of Basil Tomato Soup (I'm used to calling it Tomato Basil but I'll use the term that they... More

Stopped here this morning for breakfast. I had the Thursday special, two eggs, two pancakes, two strips of bacon, I passed on the toast, which was part of the special.service was excellent, food was the same. The Dutch kitchen never disappoints. Don't miss this part of Pennslyvania hospitality when your in this part of the country

My wife had the turkey club, and yes the turkey was REAL. and delicious. They had a scollop special, so I thought why not. Cooked almost perfect with a baked potato and veggies. Best I had in 40 years. They even give you fresh homemade bread with dinner and it was really good. If you get dessert, get what they... More
