We're from about an hour+ away but were in town to stay at a local B&B. Called some friends we don't get to see often from this area to meet up for dinner. When we met at "plan A" restaurant, it was surprisingly closed. So...I googled places nearby and said how about Devon's Seafood which was met with an immediate "YES" by our friends from that area. They had visited this place before and said "it's a little pricey but excellent quality". That description was accurate. From cocktails, to appetizers, to main course dinner everything was fantastic! Our server was friendly, attentive and helpful. All four of us enjoyed everything we ordered and hope to visit again when back in this area. Recommend: cream corn w/bacon as a sideMore

One of the best meals I have ever had in my life. First of all the server, Nicole was one of the best servers we have ever had. She was friendly and attentive. Nicole recommended cocktails to start the meal and they couldn't have been...better. My wife loved the chocolate Martini and the Pacific Punch was great as well. We had the colossal shrimp cocktail and the lobster bisque soup as starters. Nicole recommended the seafood sampler and my wife loved every item in the dish. large and juicy scallops and shrimp. The salmon was cooked perfectly and she loved the crab cakes. I had the surf and turf and the filet was one of the tenderest and tastiest pieces of steak I have ever had. The lobster tail was 1/2 pound and was amazing. The most unexpectedly pleasant part of the meal was the cream corn with bacon. What a combination of the two. It was amazing. With the covid virus, it was a very slow Tuesday night, but the restaurant atmosphere was very welcoming. It was very pleasant chatting with the server Nicole. She was always at the table when we needed drink refills and offering more bread and just to check up on our needs. This was the first time we have been to Devon's, being from NJ. So glad we read the previous reviews and decided to give it a try. The only disappointment was not saving room for a dessert. We heard the cheesecake was phenomenal, but couldn't force down another bite. The price is a bit above normal, but we couldn't have been happier. Well worth the time and looking forward to returning in the future.More

We enjoyed excellent cocktails and appetizers while dining on the outdoor patio. Heat lamps kept us warm and comfortable. Our server was friendly and very helpful.

We have been to Devon's many times with good results, but last night was a big disappointment. We were seated immediately, but waited what seemed like an eternity for our drinks from the bar. The starter was good, but from there things went down hill....My wife's chicken was overcooked - actually nearly burnt on the bottom. She and another in our party got nearly-cold mashed potatoes. They did bring fresh ones when we asked. One of my side choices was wrong - they corrected it after I asked. I love their barramundi fish, but this one was terrible. It tasted like it was not fresh or had been frozen - not flakey white and little taste. Hopefully this was just a bad night because we normally like this place a lot.More

Delicious food and even better dessert! The chicken was a tad salty but everyone else at the table was super satisfied with their seafood dishes. And The cheesecake was to die for!!!

Had a good dinner. It was pricey but worth it! Had the steak and crab cake with lobster mac and cheese and whipped potatoes. It was all delicious. Also had some cocktails and the carrot cake all really good. I would recommend making a reservation

I ate dinner with my family(5 adults) at Devon Friday October 2, 2020. We had a reservation that we made a few days before over the phone, I was assured they were following state guidelines for social distancing. It was implied that the mandate of...50% capacity was bring followed. We were clearly informed masks were required. Our reservation was for 7:15. When we arrived there were quite a few people waiting for a table, standing close together, different parties. Every table was occupied thru out the dinner except 1. I was shocked at the disregard to respect guidelines. I am ashamed that I stayed, in part because of and awkward “pressure”... we were there to celebrate a birthday... there were no other options, saying something would have resulted in a return home and a spoiled evening. My failure to follow thru is on me, after months and months of work to stay safe, well, it wears you out. I just wasn’t up for it. Posting this so there’s know ahead of time. If I had known that Devon was going to seat every table in the restaurant I would declined making the reservation and cooked at home. Posting this for your consideration, many folks are ok with not following the rules, make an informed choice.More

$190, food okay, but not even toilet paper in the toilet. Even portopotties have toilet paper! Hand sanitizer empty on way out!

Scallops were tiny and undercooked. As previous review indicated the biscuits were inedible. Worst of all there were flies in the dining room. Are you kidding me? $300 dinner and you have flies in the dining area. They charge you extra for everything which is...ok if they are a fine dining experience. This certainly was not fine dining - we will pass on them next time for sure. It was better last time we came last year. You know when you plunk down money for a dinner and feel like you just got ripped off? That’s the feeling I got driving home.More
