Great menu, close to the park and service was super. I've been coming to Parkside since the 70's and I have always enjoyed great food and libation. I love the salads---they are huge and the wings go great with them.
Don't judge your experience at the Parkside by the appearance of the exterior of the building. Go inside and have, for example, the kind of hamburger you just can't get anymore....hand formed and positively delicious. The fries aren't bad either, and they keep bottles of...Malt Vinegar handy to splash them with. With a cold beer....lunch can't get better.
They have an extensive menu, by the way. I hunted down the Parkside after reading other reviews....I'm glad I did.More
You would never know but this is an amazing place, we ordered burgers and beer and it was so reasonably priced and the service was amazing …… But the burgers hands down the best I’ve ever hand , so much so we will be returning...to try other menu items tomorrow night Jen and DaveMore
We were here a few years ago and really liked it. We were pleased to see that nothing has changed! Wine, Classic Club Sandwich, Buffalo Chicken Sandwich & the fries are still wonderful and reasonable! Service is good, and looking forward to another visit in...the future!More
We decide to try this after a hockey game. If you are looking for great decor this is not for you. We ordered a rueben and a classic burger both were good but not exceptional. It wasn’t crowded at all but the noise level was...very high and the music played was horrible. Parking if it would be busy would be difficult.More
If you are looking for swanky settings - this is not the place for you. But, if you are looking for really good food at reasonable prices, go to the Parkside Hotel! We went based on reviews and were not surprised by the "modest" setting,...The place has been around for over 75 years and it looks it, but the food was fantastic! We were there on a rainy Thursday evening with other crazy locals and loved it. Had the Delmonico steak special for $15.95 and the cheese favorite - a cheese steak sandwich served on a roll with cole slaw. Both were delicious. Had a Younglin Hershey Porter and a $2.50 Shock Top draft and it was a great meal! Will definitely stop in again next time in the area!!More
Ok so it’s a cute little place , nothing too fancy but not a dive. There outside sitting for smokers. The inside is re-done. It looks nice with a beautiful stone fireplace. Now , the food. The menu looked great but I’m a wing freak...so I had to try them. The wings themselves were kind of small but the sauce I was not crazy about. Sweet fire. Kind of barbequey and very spicy. Not
Horrible but not great. I told the waiter and he gave me a free drink(not a cheap drink). So overall I liked the place. Just not the wings so Much. Worth checking Out !More

Not that I'm aware of, but if you have a large group you could call ahead to check if they'll be able to accommodate. It's mainly a bar, with about a dozen tables around it for dining inside, with additional seating on a covered porch for the warmer days. We've never had trouble seating our family of four there for lunch or early dinners Fri-Sat.
