The only place in HersheyLodge that has coffee and breakfast type foods. During the Christmas season you are better off getting room service for coffee and food. Just heads up during this time frame, perhaps O’The time of the year is is better.
Fast and decent, have to get there early to beat the long line. They make your breakfast sandwiches to order, bagels are baked there and fresh! The coffee is also delish!!
Very busy in the morning for coffee and pastries. Asked for a blueberry scone and turned out to be cranberry so had to take it back. The croissants and scones were somewhat stale which was disappointing.
Went to Cocoa Beanery to get breakfast last week while staying at Hershey Lodge. When I paid for my order, the girl asked me outright to put a tip on my credit card. This was counter service - what was I supposed to be tipping...for? I asked for a latte with a Splenda - they said I had to go get a Spelnda and bring it to them because they don't keep any behind the counter. I ordered a croissant breakfast sandwich. When they brought it to the counter it was wrapped in foil and literally too hot to carry. I burned my fingertips trying to pick it up. I asked for a plate to put it on. They couldn't find one. I asked for napkins to wrap it in. The girl was literally standing next to a stack of napkins but told me to go to the condiment table across the restaurant to get one. When I opened the foil, the croissant was burned black. I took it back to the counter and asked them to remake it. They offered no apology, just threw a new one on the counter and walked away. Really?! I am a paying customer, they're not doing me some kind of favor. For the outrageous prices they charge, I would expect them to offer a decent level of customer service, but these girls were downright ignorant and rude. Find another coffee shop if you want to be treated with respect.More
Unfriendly corporate place that masks itself as a community hub. The management directly monitors whether students coming for lunch, buys one there. The food is overpriced, unhealthy, and not tasty. Options here are limited but aren't bad. It's worth it when you want a pre-made coffee in the evening at your room or you can have an easy accessible breakfast on your departure day which is what we did. This place does the job and...has good coffee but not to have a full on quick service breakfast like Starbucks.More
Staff were very friendly and nice atmosphere. Nice food selection and our meal was excellent! We sat outside and it was noisy due to construction behind the restaurant. The restaurant was very clean inside and out.
We ordered room service through the Beanery and it was delicious food. Well prepared and presentation.
We stopped by the go to the gift store at the lodge and got a frozen and regular hot chocolate 🍫. They were both average but the blueberry muffin was delicious!
