The Mill is overrated. We got the crab fritter appetizer- could not taste the crab. I got the duck which the side dishes were excellent. The duck itself was tough and fatty. I love duck and eat it whenever possible. Trattoria Fratelli much much better. The...creme brûlée was delicious however. It is very pricey for the quality. My husband had the scallops which were cooked perfectly. So to sum up- hit and a missMore

Went to the Milk last. Ight with high expectatuons. Location is convenient and the building is beautiful, interior also very nice. We were greeted by very friendly staff and seated upstairs. Waitress was attentive and nice. Ordered the crab appetizer which arrived looking gorgeous and...it really tastes great BUT it was lukewarm. Moved on to dinner. I had the ramen bowl and the presentation was great but again not even close to being hot. My kids both got whipped potatoes which tastes delicious but they were cold upon arrival. My husband had the brisket which tastes great and was hotter than most things but the Mac and cheese under the brisket was warm at best. How does a restaurant serve all the meals cold???? So disappointing all around. Will not returnMore

This was our 2nd time eating here, and didn’t disappoint. Food was flavorful, and well prepared. Had the shrimp lettuce wrap appetizer - delicious. It’s do it yourself, so a tad messy, but delicious! The stir fry vegetables were spicier than I expected (my issue...- not theirs) and had a bit too much sauce for my preference, but not a deal breaker. My sisters had the scallops - perfectly done! Pumpkin cheesecake was a great finish!More

I have never been so disappointed in a restaurant. I also have never personally given a review. I took my 3 daughters to lunch in Hershey. We are from South Carolina, and drove up for the weekend. We love Chicken and Waffles, so I chose...this restaurant based on the reviews as well as how the pictures on the website looked. I ordered the chicken and waffle sandwich. I watched as the table next to us received their chicken and waffles. They looked delicious. When my order came out it was an EGGO waffle. I thought it was a joke. I asked about it. The waitress told me that this is the waffle they changed to today!?? I pointed to the table Next to me and told her that is how it should look. She dismissed herself. My waiter came back and took my disgraceful waffle and said he would bring something else. No explanation for why a $16 eggo waffle sandwich left the kitchen. I thought maybe my salad would be compensated, (because that isn’t really what I wanted) but it wasn’t. It was as if it never happened. I was extremely disappointed, this was supposed to be a very special lunch for me with my girls. It ended up being extremely embarrassing for me to have to point out something like this while at lunch with my girls. Any restaurant who is willing to lie instead of tell the truth or offer to make it right isn’t worth your money.More

We were in Hershey again, and our friends decided to drive down from Philadelphia to have dinner with us. We were not sure how that would work out, as, right now, many restaurants are closed, many menus are limited, and we had misgivings about it...being worth going anywhere. However, last year, we went to The Mill, had a lovely lunch, saw that they are open for dinner, and decided to make reservations. Our reservation was for 4 pm on Thursday (10/8). Our friends arrived at our Hotel at 2, and we had wine and cheese, while catching up in the Lobby. We were at The Mill promptly at 4, and were seated at a very cozy, and out of the way, corner table. I ordered the "Poached Pear Sangria', and it was just as good as I had remembered it. My husband had wine (Malbec), and our friends both had a beer. I could eat scallops every day, I love them so much. However, on this two week trip, this was the only time I had a chance to eat seafood. They were absolutely heavenly. Our friends had the salmon, and the Maryland crab cakes, and were delighted with the food and the presentation. My husband was the only "not so happy" person at the table, as he said that his lamb chops were very tough, and he regretted ordering them. But, we were having such a good time, that food became "almost" secondary. Service could not have been better, or more attentive. We lost track of time, and noticed the restaurant filling up. Online, when I made the reservation, there was a note about, "please limit your time here to 90 minutes", however, we were there for 2 and a half hours, and all seemed well. Nonetheless, when we asked for another round of drinks, we were very gently and politely told, that others were waiting for our table. Woops! Went back to the hotel, and "partied" some more. It was a truly exceptional evening.More

Stopped in for happy hour and we were seated outside in a new addition in front of a fireplace which was very comfortable. Our server Kim could not have been better as she was friendly and explained the menu and saw that we received out...drinks and food in a timely manner. The food we ordered -- oysters on the half shell and sirloin sliders -- were excellent. We also had the SnickerDoodle creme brulee which was also very good. I look forward to returning for a wonderful dinner as they have some amazing entrees on the dinner menu. Again, a shoutout to Kim for making our visit a memorable oneMore

Very, very disappointed in this place........ I was looking forward to a nice brunch on the patio. Started off with a tasty pumpkin White Russian. We actually should have stopped there. Next I ordered chicken and waffles. Big mistake! A food runner brought out our...meal (not the waitress). It looked okay but the bacon topping was half well done and the other half of the same piece was not really even cooked. Okay ignore the topping. I cut off a piece of the waffle and it was okay. Looking at the waffle it was nicely browned towards the middle and not really browned at other places. There was a small amount of syrup towards the middle and that was where I cut my next piece. When I placed it in my mouth and chewed bitterness exploded. I flipped the waffle and the bottom was burned black with little black pieces of burnt disgusting (looked almost like scrapings of previously burnt food) attached to the entire bottom of my waffle. The chicken was partially cooked and partially uncooked. I decided to send the inedible meal back but after 45 minutes of waiting for the waitress to return, having brunch was now a distant memory. When the waitress finally returned I showed her the inedible meal she did apologize and took the charge off the bill. This was my first visit to the Mill and sadly my last. Most places would have at least offered some kind of comp to make up for the bad experience, poor service and inconvenience.More

We had brunch with my wife and daugther. Service is fabulous and the food outstanding. The spicy pickle martini is a must....too bad there is no take out for that one... The Spicy Watermelon margarita was very very good too. The crab cake sandwich with...home made chips is absolutely scrumptious. I opted for the brisket pie and it was very tasty.More

Just found out my son is gluten free so trying new places is difficult. The menu is a bit limited but they were willing to be flexible and work with us. Food was good. Crab quiche was yummy and fluffy. Gingerbread pancakes were a hit...with my husband and kids. My son had bacon, eggs and breakfast potatoes. Service was excellent!More
