Great food, kind of pricy for locals. Service wasn't very great. Maybe he was new. But seafood is fresh is next to iguanas Bar I believe.

We were looking forward to a lovely meal in a special setting. The restaurant was not busy. The service was very good. The best part of the meal was the complimentary plantain chips and dips. The frozen cocktails we ordered were just cold. The fish with shrimp sauce was over salted, with so much sauce, the fish flavour was drowned... More

Happy hour is well worth it at El Timon. We ordered lots of dishes and many beers and our bill was still very cheap. The food was good and our waiter was very attentive. You cant beat the location, as it is right on the beach.

We just wanted a light snack as the sun was setting and we were seated out of the blinding glare . Our young serving girl was all smiles with helpful suggestions and rapidly brought our order. We had ordered food that was cheesy or creamy and she came over a couple of times to clear away the accumulation of paper... More

Food was fantastic, service was excellent, atmosphere was amazing. A must do in San Juan! Lobster pad Thai was the best I've ever had, and cheapest, excellent drinks. Sit as close to beach as you can

The location of this restaurant is perfect, just in front of the sea.. they have really good cocktails but we didn't like the kitchen.. Price are high. You can find something else in San Juan with better price and better food.

The appetizer contains lobster tails, shrimps, octopus, calamari, mussels and all other seafood you can wish. I have had Bouillabaisse all over the world, in Paris, Madrid, Capetown e.g. but never as tasty as the one in El Timon!!! The portions are way too big to be called appetizer, Strongly recommended

We are here the night they had live music. The band was excellent and the local dance exhibition was interesting. A mix of locals and tourists. Only problem was the food. Both food and drinks were expensive.... and: - I had nachos and shrimps.... the sauce it came with was had huge amounts of cheese on it, for me it... More

Service was superior here, as is the view. We enjoyed our respite from the sun and heat for a few cold beers and snacks.

Had a small dinner while admiring the sunset. The views are spectacular and my carpaccio was delicious and fresh. Mojito not bad at all as well! 😊👍🍸 Service was great and in the evening they had a local band performing together with a dancing show.
