Great village pub with food available with there own much coveted car park. Out of bounds when closed. Popular with the locals, walkers, Cyclists,& Dog Walkers. Friday Night it's a Rock venue with many well known midland bands.

Queens Head retains lots of its initial character and is situated in a good location near Bodenham Arboretum.

We dined here today for lunch with friends anticipating some good food in this country pub. However, we were very disappointed. We were greeted by a very indifferent lady behind the bar and we thought the drinks were overpriced. £1.00 for soda water which, in a lot of places, is free. £4.25 for San Miguel. Ordered our meals and waited... More

We used to be regular customers at the the Queens Head about forty years ago and for old times sake decided to give it a try for lunch. OK so nowhere seems the same after forty years and due to an expected private party we could not go into the room that we used to fequent. However the lady in... More

Visited early Saturday evening, 5.30. They had just started serving food. We ordered and waited n waited. Nearly an hour later asked where our food was. Was met by a 'couldn't care' attitude by young lad. When we asked again he said very rudely "well she's gone to fiind out and turned n walked away. There were no other customers... More

Lunchtime Food is very limited there should also be a lot more choice and a Carvery and sandwiches, baquettes, and Jacket potatoes. The service is also very slow. The back chill out room could be made into a Carvery restaurant. The rear garden could do with some work as well as it is very untidy.

My companion and I visited the Queen's Head for dinner whilst staying at the nearby Camping and Caravanning Club site. Our meals appeared to be freshly prepared to our order. My friend was delighted with the Boeuf Strogenoff served with perfectly cooked rice. My Sea Bass fillets were too well cooked for my taste, however the side salad was excellent.

Lovely home cooked food with a relaxed setting. Excellent value for money in a cosy country pub. Love it

We have stopped here several times for a drink. The Staff are friendly and helpful. This is a dog friendly pub so suits us no end. This weekend we stopped with friends for a swift one, and to be honest outside was packed. Several people where waiting for food and we picked up that there was a wait just be... More

Visited with a party of six whilst staying at the Camping and Caravanning Club site in the village. There is lots of space for eating with a choice of rooms inside or outside - but the beer garden at the back was very poor, very shady with shabby tables and chairs. Menu fairly comprehensive - and not just the usual... More
