Big change since we went to this restaurant about a year ago. The quality of the food was just regular and nothing special. The advertised Christmas Menu for December 24th was not available when we arrived, we were told we were suppose to book in advance when making the reservation. There was no such a special menu, so the only... More

Have been once before and the place was very good. The set up of the restaurant seems to have changed slightly but no change in the quality of the food and experience. Thoroughly recommended

Food was excellent as was the service. Location great for a summer day. I would just add that the path from the car park to the restuarant should should be made over and saver to walk on.

Enjoyed a three course meal today as a Virgin experience gift - lovely location on Bray Marina - must be wonderful in summer. Nice goats cheese starter, roast duck was good too, lacking in flavour a little (tasted roasted more pan fried than roasted?, nice red cabbage side. Husband enjoyed his soup and lamb shanks. Finished off with rhubarb crumble... More

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely lunch at the Riverside on 27th November. The food and wine was excellent and the staff could not do enough for us. I would go back there any time. The restaurant is situated in the Bray marina. It has a great open air area overlooking the river. I should imagine it is a... More

Had great help with making a booking for 15 people for a Sunday lunch to celebrate my partner's 70th birthday. Staff attentive and nothing too much trouble. Food excellent. Couldn't have picked a better venue right on the river. Would be great to also eat outside in the summer on the patio. We'll be back!

We bought a voucher with Time Out for the three courses with a champagne cocktail. I have to say, the service was excellent throughout. I had beef carpaccio to start and my partner had tian of crab - both were delicious. Then we had the duck and the lamb shank - again, both superb. I always worry about ordering duck... More

We were given a virgin voucher for a three course meal. The 'voucher' menu was limited and it may have been our imagination but the portion of the fish and chips one of us had was definitely smaller than the table next to us on the full a la carte menu! We also had the duck which came on some... More

Delicious lunch using Time Out vouchers, which included a champagne cocktail and 3 courses. I chose the goats cheese, walnut and apple salad to start which was fresh and very tasty, followed by the battered haddock chips and mushy peas and to finish ice cream. Everything was nicely presented and freshly cooked ( except for the ice cream of course!)... More
