We stayed here for two nights B&B. The room was very clean and comfortable with an ensuite which had a lovely hot shower. The owner was friendly and served a huge breakfast. The village is beautiful and a lovely place to stay.

The 4 of us stopped for lunch, and ate inside. Had 3 crab sandwiches and 1 soup and sandwich. Excellent food and we throughly enjoyed our food. Nice place.

Three very average meals and one inedible one followed by an astonishing and upsetting conversation (that we purposely held quietly and politely away from the ears of other customers) with a rude and unsympathetic member of staff who accused us of trying to get a free meal and of not appreciating what fresh local produce should taste like. My goodness... More

Popped in for a cream tea couple of weeks ago. We were told inside was full so we took a seat at a table that hadn't been cleared outside. Made hopeful eye contact with two members of staff multiple times but they just rushed by with no word and trying to avoid dealing with us. We spotted a table had... More

Room 14 had a nice view of the river and was quiet apart from the sound of the river itself! The room was spacious, had a large TV and comfortable, firm beds (one single one double). A blanket was available for those who dislike duvets. The bathroom lacked a shower, but there was ample hot water for baths. The usual... More

Stopped here for a coffee while sightseeing. Coffee served hot and strong. Daughter had a strawberry milkshake which was just nesquick. Price was reasonable. The village has become very commercialised. Needs to be something a bit special to get more stars.

Stopped here on the weekend for a scone and tea. The scones were OK but the tea which was for 3 people was watery and only had one tea bag in the pot. Price was reasonable but wouldn't come back.

We enjoyed a quick lunch here. Great spot on the main little street. The pasties are delicious. We took a card for the B&B for the future.

We visited here twice during our stay in Cornwall; once for lunch and once for afternoon tea. Both were very tasty - the largest slice of cake I have ever been served!

We were able to sit outside on a warm but showery day thanks to the large umbrella canopy. Lovely food served by extremely pleasant staff and at a very reasonable price. Both the crab platter sandwich and gourmet fish finger sandwich were delicious. The scones coming out of the kitchen looked temptingly good too!
