This is a great place to either eat or just have a drink. The bar manager was very attentive- always willing to explain and help. Food in the bar is excellent with a good range of both pub meals and something a little different. Food is reasonably priced. Well worth a visit.

We stayed in Boscastle a couple of weeks ago and ate in the bar at the Wellington hotel twice. The food and staff were lovely and even though it is out of season the choice was good. We would definitely recommend this place to eat.

Good dinner. Friendly service. Wonderful informal folk singing on Wednesday evenings in the restaurant.

The Waterloo restaurant (Part of the Wellington Hotel) , offers a full a la carte restaurant and a Bistro/Bar menu , its safe to say all the food comes from the same kitchen , the quality of the food from both menus is a perfect example of how eating out in Cornwall has upped its game so much in the... The food here were some of the best meals we had in Boscastle. This is a large hotel with many tables. Probably because it was so big and not very full it lacked some atmosphere but great food.

Staying in the area we walked in with our dog for an evening meal. Warm welcome in pleasant informal surroundings. Food exceeded expectations by some distance, well presented, nicely cooked and friendly service. Being a Wednesday they have the Boscastle Buskers in...a group of locals who sing and poetry in a variety of styles. Smashing folk who made us feel... More

We came here mostly because of the images of the flood in which water could be seen rushing through the entrance. We were somewhat disappointed by the atmosphere, and also by the prices of the menu. Local ales on offer and served in decent condition.

Fell into the restaurant after a long day out looking for a quick and simple supper. My wife was pleased with the large pot of Earl Grey tea provided. I enjoyed the Cidre from the tap. We were found a table despite not booking and the restaurant being quite busy. It is split over two areas and on two levels... More

We had two meals at The Wellington pub and both were lovely pub meals and prices not bad. The fish pasta dishes I thought a little over priced and they ran out of mussels! Beer good too.

The deck looked appealing after a long walk, but it was another hike to the bar. They were between chef shifts, and an order for cream tea stumped them. Not sure if the scones were old, or uncooked.
