We decide to try the Crows Nest as it's under new management, so glad we did. Popped in without booking as it was early evening and a Wednesday, walked in and the pub was a lot busier than we expected for mid week and i could see reserved signs on tables, but they found us a table. The menu is... More

Very nice. We met there with friends for lunch. Fascinating old building, good beer and food, not a bad price either. The new owners have only been there 3 weeks or so and are still settling in, but they seem lovely people and I reckon they will make this a great pub. Very handy for all sorts of sight seeing... I am very fussy about food, as you can see from my previous reviews. The food we had here was very good indeed, so much so that I sent my father there the following night for Table7! It's a good old pub and not just to sit down restaurant but this lends itself to having a great atmosphere. Three main... More

Looking for a lunchtime pub which would also welcome our dog whilst we travelled from the Cornish Coast towards an inland Devon Hotel.. We fond the Crows Nest Inn on the Good Pub Guide 2017, but nearly didn't go in, as the car park and outside area look really tired and scruffy - What a mistake that would have been!... More

While on holiday in Cornwall, we happened to see this pub on Google Maps while looking for somewhere to go for lunch. What a find! Very new landlords have struck an excellent balance between quality of food and price. Made to feel very welcome with our two children. Gorgeous building and location also. It is just a shame we are... More

We visited on the 13th April following a recommendation from our hosts at Coombe Farm Cottages. Little did we know the new management team had only opened up 3 days before and were struggling with staff letting them down, however their welcome could not have been warmer, and despite not being open for food at the time we arrived they... Having had a lovely morning wandering around the ancient stones of Bodmin Moor, we stumbled upon the Crow's Nest on their re-opening day. We had a warm welcome to a traditional old style pub good for both eating and just having the odd pint or two. The menu was small but perfectly formed offering sandwiches, ploughmans, pie and chips &... More

Visited here on one of our regular trips to Cornwall sadly we would no longer recommend the food, the new landlord who is very friendly has decided this is more of an entertainment / drinking pub. The night of our visit was seventies theme which was entered into in great spirit however food consisted of breaded chicken and chips or... More

Lovely traditional pub, recommended to us by a friend. We had a lovely meal and were made to feel very welcome. Sitting by the fire was such a treat after a very long, wet and windy coastal walk! Thank you and we hope to be back in the summer!

Always passed by the Crows Nest never went in until I had a recommendation from a friend to go in to sample the delights, glad I did. I took my wife to this establiment for a Sunday lunch just recently and the moment we walked into the place we were met with warmth and welcome from the Landlord and staff.... More
