Very cosy setting in the bar - fireplace sets the scene as well. We all ordered the cod & chips as we'd been looking forward to that all day. We were not disappointed to say the least. Very good service and delicious food. Cannot fault anything.

Very popular with the locals which is always a good sign. Our meal was lovely, hot and well presented, would definitely recommend this quaint establishment in the heart of the village.

Cosy and inviting with good food and beer. The menu had the usual regulars and offered different dishes also. The fish and chips were well cooked and plenty to eat. Prices are good and the staff and owners very welcoming.

We went in for a quick pint and ended up staying ages. The locals were friendly the beer very well kept and the food traditional and well presented. The fire in the front bar was lovely and welcome on a wet Cornish winter evening. Quick warning, the cat looks beautiful but has a reputation for being not exactly friendly. We... More

Not the usual chain pub serving the same pre-cooked food as all the others. No frills pub offering a decent menu decent and (apparently) home cooked food at reasonable prices. Well worth a visit

We went there whilst staying in Mevagissey. The food is generous and very reasonably priced. The front bar is for food only and access to the tiny bar is quite restricted. The smugglers bar at the back had more space with bigger tables.

This 15th Century Inn is very popular and attracts many to it's doors, be they locals or tourists. There is a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. There are 2 parts to the Inn, the Front Bar, featuring a log fire, and the Smugglers' bar at the back. Food can be eaten in both areas. The Inn provides a full range of... More

An excellent Gastro pub, where you can get a magnificent crab sandwich (plus chips and salad) for under £10. The beer is great and, with it being popular amongst the locals, you can find out what is going on in Mevagissey Everyone is so friendly and interesting
