A group of 23 of us walked in the area and pre-booked our lunches for a set time. When we arrived, the service was adequate but a bit confused. The meals arrived so far apart that some had finished before the last meals arrived and they forgot 2 of the meals. When they came, they were average, but not great.... More

The food was good , we had the carvery , fresh veg and nice and hot . Only thing was we couldn't understand the price increase of £5.00 extra for a large plate , the only difference was 2 extra slices of meat and prahaps a little more veg . I think this was a little to much increase .

This is a real regular of ours, we eat here often and are never disappointed with our visits. Food is great, the carvery is such good value, with plenty of choice. Lovely atmosphere, good range of beers and lagers and soft drinks. Lovely homely feel to the pub and very friendly staff. Good place for families, plenty of tables both... More

Pub at the entrance to caravan park site which offers your basic pub menu, all well cooked, with carvery every Sunday and every every evening. Popular with locals as well. No frills or fancy bits to the food but honest home cooking.

Have to say we were quite disappointed with our meal, very average and for the price we expected better, one example is a Stilton sauce which cost 2.95 that had only the very very faintest taste of Stilton, the chips were anemic, the peas were like bullets, the steak was chewy! After having fish elsewhere which was excellent, it was... More

I had a meal here last evening, at the end of what was probably a busy day for the kitchen but the Chef turned out an inspired Tagliatele dish for me with olives and sun dried tomatoes and pasta that was just perfect. And a great helping . It was my first visit for many a year , I had... More

Lovely lunch here today. Great value, tasty food! Lovely garden space for the kids to play too. Brilliant for a stop after a walk on the lovely Par beach.
