Saw this place on trip advisor whilst feeling peckish in perranporth so went in to grab a takeaway - Soooooo glad we did. The chips taste beautiful as cooked in dripping The fish was bright white and flakey and delicious and the batter was crispy and tasty. Amazing Cannot recommend highly enough

A definite staple for when we are in Cornwall, chips and fish bites to die for, friendly staff and excellent food. What more could you want, go to it out for yourself.

Fish and chips as they should be, cooked in beef dripping giving that extra flavour. A very good portion of chips and beautiful battered cod all cooked fresh and to perfection . All products locally sourced, chips prepared on site as well as fish filleted by chef, a truly wonderful family business. All at an affordable price.

We stopped here to grab take away on our way back to our cottage. We were looking forward to some good fish and chips and were greatly disappointed. We have eaten at many fish and chips establishments across the UK and this was not tasty as I had to stop eating and prepare something else for dinner. The fish was... More

Stopped off in Perranporth looking for something to eat early evening and decided on that British classic, fish and chips takeaway sitting on the bench overlooking the beach. The fish was cooked fresh and was delicious

Stopped off here on our way to the beach. It was busy but we managed to get a table that was clean and had been cleared. There were two lovely ladies waiting the tables who were very helpful. The food was lovely and good sized portions.

the best fish and chips on the way back from Cornwall. Be prepared to wait around half an hour as food is cooked to order so not somewhere to visit in a hurry but if you're happy for your food to be ready "DRECKLY" then the food is worth the wait.

We go to Cornwall once a year but we always make sure we visit Pickwicks. It could be classed as a greasy spoon restaurant but it's so much better than that, for example my wife had a crab and lobster burger which was delicious. I had a fry up and me being a fussy eater was so happy when the... More
