Visited following a day at the Eden Project - its only a 5 minute drive from there - and after reading the reviews on TA. Good old-fashioned chippy, we arrived just after 6pm on a Friday and they were virtually queuing out of the door....More

I've been visiting the Old Forge Cafe, as a holidaymaker, for over 20 years and have never had a bad meal. Since the girls have been running the business it's got even better. I now live locally and continue to get my fish and chips...More

Lets start, The food is 10/10 the best in Cornwall. The staff are polite and helpful! The opening hours are a major major draw back and have left us stuck for food numerous times. The chip shop really needs to be open atleast 5 days...More

The opening hours have been the same for 40 years . We hardly go on holiday we have 1 week in March and 2 weeks in Sept . We open 3 evening and 5 dinner times the times are stated in the window . Think...More

Very accommodating staff. Excellent food and very large portions. We went as a family of seven and only one managed to finish the large portions of excellent food. Thanks to all the staff

My father took me here a couple of times as a kid. Always loved it, and the food is still just as bleddy ansum! I still drop by here for a monthly treat. Friendly, chatty service and is immaculately clean, Proper chippies cooked in dripping...More
