We saw the sign posted cream teas and pulled off the road for our first farm cream tea. It was such a pleasant experience and the scones and clotted were fresh and delicious. We were fortunate to catch her in her last two weeks before she retired. Maybe she could be talked into opening her tea room a few days... More

We discovered Sue's about 8 years ago and have visited every year since. Sue is a genuine lovely lady who has always charged the bare minimum and produced superb cream teas on her working farm. Sure the garden furniture is basic but who cares when the quality of the goods is this excellent? So sad to find out when we... More

Sue is a great hostess, very pleasant and welcoming. The scones were freshly made that day and there was lashings of cream and jam, delicious. I don't mind that it is next to a cow shed, nothing like country air. Don't miss this little gem of a place! Sue - invest in an A board so we know where you... More

Superb service in a charming garden. Served brilliantly by Sue (or a helper). Scones always at great quality, as is the drinks. Highly recommend.

We went here after reading all the amazing reviews and I think we must have been to a different place. This was in a garden next to cow sheds. The tables were covered in plastic tablecloths . This scones were not cooked properly they were doughy. If you want an amazing cream tea go down the road to Polpeor Cafe,... More

This was probably the most bizarre place I have ever eaten and wish I hadn't have bothered. The place is no more than a glorified shed which is not really fit for serving food. It was freezing so the owner plugged in a electric fire and placed it next to us.The menus and tablecloths were grubby and have seen better... More

My sister and I have been visiting The Lizard for 5 years and every year we have seen the sign for Sue' s Cream Teas and always promised ourselves one but never got around to it. We did this year though and WOW!! Beautiful home made scones, lashings of delicious jam and cream and the most delicious pot of tea... More

After reading the reviews on trip advisor, I was expecting great things from sues cream tea's but unfortunately the scones didn't match our expectations. In fairness the price was very reasonable, the host was friendly, and the portions were generous. However the scones were very heavy and didn't taste like they were made that day. Disappointed the jam wasn't homemade... More
