Family catch up on a Saturday evening and was surprised how good the food is, the new menu seems to have improved the food from good to great. All the starters we tried were very good, but the Massaman Curry and the Crying Tiger were both excellent. The sticky black rice dessert was also very good. Very attentive service despite... More

Since Sattahip has moved from next to the old Post office, the food and ambience has improved dramatically. I've eaten here with my husband and also with our young children. Service is fantastic but most importantly the food is outstanding. Very authentic Thai food, Sydney quality and price is very reasonable. The decor is new and nice and the kids... More

New venue across the road has been nicely done with open kitchen. Smaller though for dining in. Staff are lovely and always very friendly. Food is good for a country town Thai

When it comes to Asian food in the highlands, you have to lower your expectations a little - it won't be Rockpool or Mr Wong. Sattahip Thai have been around for a long time and they are consistent. The veges are fresh, the service is friendly and, food arrives fast (too fast sometimes). But most dishes are on the bland side... More

Went to the restaurant with my Mum and Dad for dinner. We didn't have a booking but they provided us with a table none-the-less. Provided glasses and water immediately after sitting down along with menus. Staff allowed us ample time to make our choices and were quick to deliver our orders in an appropriate time period. Staff always had a... More

Very friendly and casual restaurant experience with delicious food. I had an early dinner for one at about 6.30pm and had no problems getting a table but it soon filled up, so would highly recommend making a booking.

Good Thai food. Attentive staff but lacks anything out of the ordinary. BYO which is an advantage. Meals are good sizes - a safe place to get a reasonable meal.
