Staying in the area and was looking for a good coffee, we found it here. Strong enough and made just right for my cappuccino. Using a local roasting company called Rush. Worth a stop.

Stopped here when we were in desperate need of a caffeine fix. The coffee was absolutely beautiful. Had a quick breakfast too which was lovely. Highly recommend.

Called in to the Robertson Cheese Factory for a quick, light Sunday lunch. Unfortunately the order was "stuffed up' and our food didn't arrive for an hour and a half. Thankfully, when our food arrived it was really nice. Staff were wonderful and very apologetic.

Stopped for breakfast on a weekday. Arrived just before 11.30 when breakfast finishes so had a nice Turkish sandwich and coffee. The view was great out through some big windows. Right outside was a rail line which I thought was unused, but in 30 minutes 3 trains went past ? They were Diesel engines and it added to the rustic... More

We stopped off here partly by luck and has the most delicious (although a bit pricey) lunch and the kids meals were amazing, beautifully presented and healthy! the shops are charming and you could easily while away an hour or two just inside but we sadly had to leave to our next stop. Would definitely go again!

Old cheese cake factory conversion to a cheese shop, provides a variety of cheese to try. Can also have ice cream and coffee.

The cheese shop has lots of cheese, sauces, lollies etc. and a great little cafe adjoining it that serves some lovely meals and great coffee, if you are there at the right time you can experience a goods train rattling and banging it's way past the window, a highlight to men and children who ran to the window to watch.

Great selection of local cheese drew our attention. Also specialised flour for baking bread and other homemade treats. Kids would love boiled sweets but did not try them. Good bread also. All at tourist prices.

We stopped at the Robertson Cheese Factory on our way home from the coast. It’s a busy little café so were lucky to find a table. My vegetarian brekkie was delicious with perfectly cooked poached eggs. The mushrooms were cooked with thyme and oregano and the roasted tomatoes were full of flavour. There was generous serving of butter for the... More
