Only stopped in for a coffee, and it was certainly a good one. My partner though thought the coffee could have been hotter, it was just right for me. To my surprise he also brought me a chocolate brownie, it was rich and delicious. Lovely balcony to sit and see above and view the historic street. Good service, fast and... More

En route to stay in the Hunter with family, we stumbled upon this cafe at lunchtime in sleepy April. The village has enormous significance in Aboriginal culture; the most surprising thing for us was the range of veggie options on offer in such a small place: freshly prepared & cooked, I'd certainly recommend this cafe & will definitely return!

This friendly, eccletic, rustic cafe' is a must-stop location in Wollombi! We were met by smiling staff who served us promptly and professionally. Just what you want after a long ride through the picturesque country! To compliment our hot drinks we chose meals of the Big Breakfast and Vegetarian Big Breakfast. All the ingredients were fresh, well-prepared, and naturally flavoursome.... More

My partner and I rode into town from where we were staying at "Somewhere Unique" to have a bite to eat and chose Café Wollombi. The food was tasty and well priced.

Recently went to Cafe Wollombi for lunch and was very impressed with the menu options. We were dining with some vegetarian friends and there was a lot of options for them to choose from. Everything we ordered was so lovely and fresh. I had the nachos and they were delicious. Will definitely go again when we are next in Wollombi... More

There was good variety on the menu. We had traditional bacon and eggs with sourdough toast. Very quick service and friendly staff. Nice place for breakfast or lunch.

Fabulous breakfast and coffee. I wasn't sure what to expect from a tiny village when it came to breakfast but was very impressed with this place. Corn fritters were delicious the meal looked so fresh and inviting. Homemade Scones were VERY good!!! Now wishing I'd taken some away with me of course!!
