Nice place to sit at the bar or get a table. We have never had anything here to eat that we did not like. They give very generous portions. We had the chicken salad and grouper sandwiches and both were excellent. Also save room for dessert because they are all home made there. We had bread pudding and apple cobbler... More

After an event five friends stopped in for an early dinner around 3pm on a Saturday and the Porterhouse was busy, but we scored a table in the bar which we prefer to upstairs. Shrimp cocktail was nice with 6 large with a very spicy sauce. We all ordered burgers either the Brewmaster with cheddar jack cheese & bacon or... More

Stopped in for lunch while visiting our son who lives in PA an throughly enjoyed the setting, food and especially the service. Because of our sons food restrictions our waitress was super helpful in adjusting his meal which was no easy feat. The food came hot, plentiful and was very tasty and my beer flight of mostly local brews was... More

Never been here before, but it was highly recommended by friends and I am so glad we took their suggestion to go on a recent Friday night. I was surprised when I first came in, to see the packed bar area lined with pub tables and booths arranged tightly. At first I was concerned, since we were there for a... More

We've only been here once, and the place was jammed (on a Wed night), so maybe our experience is not typical, but here's what we found: the beer choices are pretty good, with a nice variety. My onion soup was tasty, but the onions were under cooked. A minor point, but the waitress brought my salad before my soup. I... More

We went for an early dinner because there were no reservations later. The menu offers a decent selection and the food prices are reasonable. The house salads are meager but the entree sizes are adequate. I had a steak and for a steakhouse it wasn't that special. Everyone else seemed to really like their meals so I assume it's good.... The food is worth the price. You can get a full on steak dinner or a sandwich. Awesome time with friends.

We have been to Porterhouse many times and always enjoyed our meal. However, last night we went to celebrate my daughter's birthday and I was very disappointed. There were six of us dining and we all ordered soup. I ordered the French onion and it was lukewarm and the onions were hard. The bisque was lukewarm as well. The steaks... More

Found Porterhouse by mistake. It's not on the Peddlers Village map. We went the wrong way on Rt.202 looking for a different restaurant. We found ourselves in front of this restaurant. Very fortuitous. Granddaughter, who is so-o-o fussy, ordered a hamburger with this and that, got exactly what she wanted. Daughter and myself ordered off the menu. Food arrived promptly.... More
