We were enticed to try this restaurant from the reviews on this site. It is close by my family’s home in Lakeville, PA. It is an old small hotel, bought and renovated after a fire years ago. The proprietors were a lovely, friendly couple that...More

Went with the entire family and had a magnificent night. Everything made fresh to order so leave plenty of time when going with a large group. Atmosphere is wonderful. Hosts were fun to be with.

Went here for my birthday with family. The owners were so friendly and accommodating. The food was very good, and fresh as they make it all from scratch. The antiques were kind of quirky but that's part of the charm. It's a place to let...More

I tried Der Jaeger this past Thursday night, food cooked to order, in small antique shop! But Really good food! Loved it so much, we went back on Sunday with Friends. Our group had Sauerbraten, outstanding, Beef Stroganoff, Pork Loin with potatoes. The restaurant is...More

Over the weekend my husband and I visited this fantastic German restaurant in the Poconos. It's part antique shop, part BBQ shack, but also has a sit-down restaurant inside with a wider variety of foods, mostly focusing on traditional German cuisine. Everything is homemade and the German hostess/owner (who also cooked some of the food) was very accommodating.
