Excellent German food in a really unique setting. Antique shop and restaurant combination with freshly made German food. Will definitely go back. BYOB also.

Went here for my birthday with family. The owners were so friendly and accommodating. The food was very good, and fresh as they make it all from scratch. The antiques were kind of quirky but that's part of the charm. It's a place to let...More

It's a unique experience. Owners were wonderful. Food was excellent. Since everything is prepared fresh, need to allow time for this meal. Loved it and would come back again

I tried Der Jaeger this past Thursday night, food cooked to order, in small antique shop! But Really good food! Loved it so much, we went back on Sunday with Friends. Our group had Sauerbraten, outstanding, Beef Stroganoff, Pork Loin with potatoes. The restaurant is...More

This is my second trip to the restaurant. The owners are wonderful people and they take time to sit and talk. The antiques shop is certainly unexpected in visiting the restaurant, but the tour of the place on your own passes some time while the...More

Over the weekend my husband and I visited this fantastic German restaurant in the Poconos. It's part antique shop, part BBQ shack, but also has a sit-down restaurant inside with a wider variety of foods, mostly focusing on traditional German cuisine. Everything is homemade and the German hostess/owner (who also cooked some of the food) was very accommodating.
