Food and service always excellent. Desserts are especially good. Surroundings are cozy and up scale.

I called to see if our reservation could be moved up from 2:00 to 1:00. I was informed that they had no reservation under our name and never took parties that large. End of conversation! Called back to speak with manager, same conversation! When I explained that I had made the reservation w Michael, Michael apologized but nothing was offered.... More

Went to this restaurant for Easter dinner. Made reservations for 1:00pm We were seated within a few minutes. Since it was Easter they had a set menu. Food was delicious, I had the salmon. Drinks were a little pricey. Our waiter was very attentive. We were not rushed. Everyone was very nice.

We had not been to Vickers in several years and were pleasantly surprised with what a nice meal it was. Excellent service, and a nice menu, with good choices.

I have been to Vickers for lunch (now discontinued) and dinner many times. Sometimes I find the staff friendly and welcoming and sometimes it is all business. The food is mostly good though a few dishes have been a let down. It is an expensive restaurant and it needs the combination of friendly service AND outstanding food.

We walked into the restaurant on a busy Friday night. They seemed busier than they anticipated because we weren't greeted for ten minutes and then told that we could seat ourselves. The server was super rushed and service was very slow. We have been there before and it was a wonderful experience. If this time had been our first time,... More

Well, it WAS New Years Eve. They had a fixed price dinner with somewhat limited choices compared to their "regular offerings". For $75 per person you had a choice of 6 appetizers, 6 entree's and 5 desserts. The choices weren't too bad. The Farmhouse salad was excellent, the four pieces of "rack of lamb" were ok and the NY Cheesecake... More

The dining experience was disappointing in several ways. The waiter substituted a Cabernet of his choosing because they were "out of" the Bordeaux stating the cab was a more expensive wine ($1.00 more, big deal). I should have been asked to select another of my choice! The lobster bisque was barely warm and no lobster. The Caesar salad for 2... More

The meal was great and our waiter Mike was terrific but we were charged $4.00 extra - $8.00 a couple for sharing a salad, which I thought was unreasonable. I spoke to the owner after our dinner and before we went to the bar afterwards and he said there was 2 plates broken, thus the reason for our charge -... More

my children meant it to be a grand 85th birthday celebration. 1 1/2 hours to get appetizers. $ 5 to split soup! (but $ 8 to split a main course). half the dishes were no good - overcooked (lobster), incorrectly seasoned, cold, tasteless. remainder some good some ok. did not like the wine we'd ordered after a taste. they refused...
