Eddie's Footlong Hot Dogs has been a local attraction for many years. The locals (like myself) look forward to it's opening each year and are sad when the season ends. Although they have opened a year round store in the down town mall, it's not the same as the ambiance of the original hot dog stand and I find I... More

Only hot dogs I will eat! Favorite summertime stop. Also have picked up to-go. Usually get a buttermilk and sometimes, fries.

Stopped at Eddie's while visiting our son at Allegheny college...fries were crispy , hot and fresh tasting... Footlong dogs we tried had Eddie's sauce, sauerkraut and onion and were amazing...not far from the route 79 exit in meadville and well worth a stop!

My husband and I were recently visiting with friends whom we met in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Eddie's was one of the local favorites they wanted us to try. The hotdog stand is very nicely landscaped. You order at a walk up window and then eat outside at one of several picnic tables. Hotdogs and the standard sides are all... More

No indoor seating. Cute little outdoor walk-up window. Nicely landscaped outdoor picnic tables to eat on. They serve Smith's hot dogs, which are always the best! Other than that, nothing special. Not worth going out of the way for. Not sure if it was just a bad day, but the lady who waited on us was quite rude.

If you love Hot Dogs you need to stop at Eddies, if you are in the area. My 89 year old Aunt introduced me to the best dogs ever. The Menu consists of Foot long Hot Dogs and Sloppy Joe's and some friendly sides. Roadside atmosphere and just a fun place for all ages.

They use Smith's hotdogs. They have their own special chili- type sauce. It is good, but it is not anything out of the ordinary. It is good and service is typically fast.

Pretty neat eatery that offers some good dogs. The price can be seen as a little steep for just a hot dog but I'd say it's pretty worth it.

My husband and I have eaten delicious hot dogs at Eddie's since the early 60's when we lived in the area. Now every time that we are visiting family, we always make certain to stop at Eddie's for our favorite hot dogs. We love the outdoor picnic table casual ambiance and the quick service. Try Eddie's and you will be... More
