What a terrific experience! The restaurant is beautiful. Love that it is BYO. They had live music. The service was very good and we had a lovely chat with Courtney. Now...the food. Wow! We started with fig crostini and cauliflower snacks - both were delicious. The kale salad was tasty. The beet and fingerling plate was delicious and had chips... More

My wife and I have been eating at Lotus for several years now so I can base my review on literally dozens of meals. The menu is not extensive - generally about a dozen or so choices for appetizer, a dozen or so for entre and five or six for dessert. The food is always outstanding, always different, always interesting,... More

We had a party of five - my DIL booked this restaurant as it had been reviewed by NPR. She said the NPR review had said the restaurant was booked a year in advance; however, when we visited it was not very crowded at all. As another reviewer mentioned, the cost was somewhat expensive, with separate prices for salads, which... More

I think they should give you a side salad with your meal. The portions are somewhat small and it is a little pricey for what you get. The menu is small and it is a BYOB restaurant. There were 6 of us for dining under the stars. We choose to eat inside because it was so humid outside. I had... More

We booked a reservation here based on other tripadvisor reviews, and we were not disappointed with the food. Everything tasted great, and the service was really good. But, the temperature of the room was very uncomfortable. It was in the upper 80s outside and very humid, and they had the door open with no A.C., at least none that we... More

I had and excellent lunch at this lovely farm to table restaurant. The menu was very interesting, creative and reasonable. Very nice and clean setting, polite and efficient service and a good location right on State Street.

I went here when I was in media for jury duty, and had a pleasant experience. I had the salmon sandwich, which was delicious and filling. The salad that it came with had a zingy dressing that complemented the sandwich well. I also tried the honey peach soda, which was much sweeter than I expected. I couldn't take more than... More

This restaurant can always be counted on to over-deliver on expectations. We had three meals tonight and they were all excellent. Duck (the fave), trout and chicken dishes were all packed with favor and interesting ingredients. We will be back.

I've eaten here 3 times in the last 2 years and each time the food was an absolute delight but each time there just didn't seem like enough of it. I'm not a big eater but I like to feel satisfied after a meal. Frankly, if I hadn't been being treated, I wouldn't have gone back.

Thank Victoria P
