We really enjoyed our meals of Kefta and hummus. It was very well made and we enjoyed the atmosphere and reasonable cost

If you like middle east food this place is for you. The food is fresh and prepared in front of you. Staff is happy and helpful. Suggest that you feast on the appetizers, that way you can get a variety of delicacies and enjoy some white wine you bring from home. Very down home and not fancy, but good food... More

One of my favorites. I can always go here and count on the food being fresh and tasty. Everyone working there is always friendly and accommodating.

The bureka and the hummus were really tasty....but sitting in a cold restaurant on a day that's not particularly cold outside (43 degrees) means the restaurant doesn't have its act together to keep patrons warm. Having to walk through the kitchen to get to a one-person bathroom is unpalatable on many levels.

This place is simple, small, friendly, and delicious. I had some great falafel, and my husband had a pita. A nice change in food offerings. Lots of vegetarian options.

Enjoyed one of the best racks of lamb I have ever had. Saved room for baklava dessert thank goodness! We were new so did not know you have to bring your own wine. Great food.

We have been going to Desert Rose since it opened. It has authentic Mediterranean/Israeli dishes that are made to order. The pita is the best! There was a period of time that the waitstaff was disappointing. The current crew is top-notch and customer oriented.

Delicious freshly prepared Middle Eastern food. Everything we ordered was nicely presented. The menu was well thought out with an opportunity to try a variety of unfamiliar foods. The waitress was very pleasant and exceeding patient, answering our many questions about the interesting options. We enjoyed everything we ordered and will return soon to explore the cuisine further.

Friendly, informal atmosphere, BYOB. I had the kabob and really liked the mildly spiced meatballs served over humus with fresh pita and a cabbage/citrus salad. Our son had the rack of lamb, medium rare, and was equally pleased. My husband's Greek salad had plenty of feta, cucumber, tomatoes, olives. It didn't have any lettuce, however. He said everything was crisp... More
