6 people and problems with 3 of the orders. (1) ordered one thing, got another, (2) shortribs were dry and hard not to mention big vein of fat (didn't eat it - they didn't charge for it either so we took it home for the dog), (3) ordered tuna taco special with rice and corn - got 3 dry taco... Went last night with my wife for the first time. We had to get our own menus because we sat at the table for 10 minutes and no one came over. Minus the lack service the food is really good, the burgers were really good and they do have a great selection of beers. I would go back again I... More

Beautiful old building with a good menu and decent pricing. Great outdoor patio and wheelchair accessible. Only complaint was the wait staff was the slowest I have ever experienced in all my travels.

Enjoyed our dinner on the patio. I had the shrimp tacos & my husband had the brisket. You can tell it was made fresh. We also had the brownie desert which was out of this world. Our server (Nicole) was excellent. Will be back

Met a friend there which I hadn't seen in awhile. Ended up sitting there for 4 hours enjoying a meal and just chatting and catching up and we didn't get the boot. It's located in a little strip shopping mall but is freestanding. The dining room was sectioned off so we had to eat in the bar area which had... More

When my wife and I try a new place, and if it's not up to our standards, we say "take it off the list". We visited here yesterday and as soon as we got in the car we said " take it off the list". I would rate the food mediocre. I had the Ruben and my wife had the... More

This was a go-to place for my wife and myself. We went last night (a random Friday) and were very disappointed. Maybe our server was new and inexperienced, but the service was horrible. We were seated immediately but it took a good 10+ minutes for our server to come by. All the time other servers, busboys and even the hostess... More

As much as I would like to give this place a better review, I ended up feeling disappointed after going here last week. The unsweetened iced tea was not good. I asked for a water instead as I couldn't drink the unsweetened iced tea. Our appetizer was not what we ordered, we waited quite awhile for our food, and when... More

The menu is great - many choices - but the burgers somehow wind up as everyones choice! They also have great smoked meat specials.

Thank you for taking the time to post about our wonderful burgers and our delicious smoked meats which we smoke ourselves. Our burgers have won many awards through out the years and our Burger Battle Thursdays are very popular. Throw in a beautiful patio and those burgers and smoke meats make the Village Tavern the best place to be in... More
