Very poor. Fish and chips was like frozen food heated up, plus cold fries. Burger extremely average. Flatbread tasteless and lukewarm. Great view but will not return. Positive is a good beer list. Pet peeve is they added 20% gratuity to party of 4 and...didn’t tell us while leaving space for tip.More

psyched for a celebration of 2 birthday girls (wife, sister) and headed to "the landing' to mark the occasion in style. driving through new hope we just knew we were going to have to face a wait for a table ( the sidewalk traffic in...town looked like 6th ave nyc). not too bad, though; estimated wait time was 25 minutes and we actually got a table overlooking the delaware river in 25 minutes. i picked 2 pa-brewed beers which were excellent. the ladies had wine. waitperson was very sweet, but didn't get the orders right. on the plus side: the calamari appetizer was some of the best i have ever had - anywhere - and was ample for two or three people. however, sister ordered the berry/lettuce salad w/ salmon, but chicken was what was sent out. wife ordered the same salad (w/o any 'meat' accompaniment), but was dressed with the scantiest imaginable amount of dressing, so had to ask for more. i ordered the pulled pork sandwich which came with french fries (i specifically requested extra crispy) but did not get them that way (and there were a total of 9 to 10 fries on the plate to begin with). the gals had to wait an awfully long time to get their corrected versions of their salads; i had to wait an even longer time to receive my fries. the sandwich itself was ample in size, served on a brioche bun, but was as flavorless and unimaginative a bbq sauce as i've ever had on such as sandwich, and the cole slaw was mounted ON the sandwich and not as a side as one might expect. the sloppy, hard to hold sandwich came with a barely cured , HUGE sour pickle (i am not a big pickle guy). i had to exit earlier than the ladies b/c the parking meter needed a 2nd feeding b/c of the length of time spent. the creme brulee which the ladies ordered was another 15-20 minute wait; waitperson apologized saying they had to make up a new batch, yet when it arrived it was cool, rather than warm inside. other little annoyances did not help the final assessment for this restaurant (no salt/pepper, long wait to get even THAT). guy next to us seemed to think it was okay to smoke, which was off-putting as well. for 2 salads, a calamari app, a pulled pork sammich, 2 12-ounce drafts, 2 house wines, and one shared cold dessert, the bill came to $140. (on the plus side, our server did not put the dessert on the bill b/c of the excessive wait). may be awhile before i go back to "the landing.'More

The Landing was always one of our favorite places to eat in New Hope. We moved out of the area several years ago and when we came back to visit we wondered if anything had changed at The Landing. We or happy to report that...this place is still in gem on the Delaware. Food is delicious as before and the outdoor area is fantastic for families. We had a four year old with us and he loved looking at the ducks. He had a child’s portion of grilled cheese and french fries for $9 but the portion would he got would fill up a hungry adult. The rest of us had muscles in wine and garlic for appetizers, which was absolutely delightful. The 4 year old wanted to taste them and to our big surprise he loved them. We also had fish tacos, fish and chips and a BLT - all very very good. We were seated at a large table - # 52 - outside, which is a corner table with plenty of shade, a big red umbrella, and plenty of room. It was a wonderful meal.More

I ordered a Margherita flat bread pizza that was cold. Came back 10 minutes later and was very tough. Tasted like store bought frozen pizza. My husband's beer was warm so he had to put ice in it. It was 98 outside. He wanted an...ice cold beer.. James, our waiter, was super nice and apologetic. I left very hungry since I didn't eat the pizza. Won't go back. Very limited menuMore

Went on a Thursday evening and it was quiet waitress and bartender were both very pleasant but not at all attentive. Had to literally flag down the waitress for refills of water or cocktails every time. Food was not at all special. “Award winning” chili...had by two of our party and they were wondering who gave out the awards. I had shrimp tacos. Not anything special. Shrimp were small, quacamole was not fresh. Nothing seemed made in- house. All frozen stuff. Not worth the $More

We enjoyed our meal outside on the terrace overlooking the river. We had the glazed fig flatbread, pear and beet salad and pan seared salmon. It was all delicious! Service was excellent. Wait staff was very attentive. This place is a gem! if you want...a delicious meal, attentive service and a beautiful view of the river - this is the place. We also shared the brownie dessert which was amazing!More

There is nothing special on the menu, but they do have a patio with beautiful vistas. Their beer selection is not bad either.

Used to be an excellent place. $19 for a burger? Whoa. Crab dip (in a tiny cup) with incredibly bad chips for $16? Whoa. A $2 up charge for incredibly bad fries (McDonalds, yes McDonalds, fries far superior). Had fish and chips (tasted like frozen...fish from a package). Service... nice guy... but meh... rushed in and out. The place has a cold feeling. They're lucky they are next to the water because it's the only thing that is nice... the view. Used to go there quite a bit. My last choice. Sorry, Landing. You're not what you used to be.More
