The Revere Tavern has been around since the 1740s and is worth visiting for that reason alone. The food was hit and miss. The soups were excellent as was the 28-day aged ribeye. My rockfish was tiny, overcooked to near inedibility, and didn't resemble its menu description. The wines by the glass need to be changed. The service was excellent... More

We knew it was getting close to close on a Sunday night..Jutst looking for a quick bite and a drink I know that when its time for closing most people just want to go home. However Kristen the hostess did a awesome job making sure we had the seats we wanted. We didn't want dining room for a complete dinner... More

We ate at the Revere. Very nice restaurant. Beautiful in its historic accents with modern flare. Very clean, warm and inviting. Service was very good. My meal was not to.my liking and they did everything to assure my satisfaction. My wife's meal was on point. Prices are what you should expect for a restaurant like this. I would visit again.

We went here to celebrate my husband's birthday, which is on Valentine's day. It was our first visit here. I was initially put off by being led to an upstairs dining room. But it was quiet, attractive, and with a gas fireplace. Red and white decore and fresh flowers on the tables. We both had steak, perfectly prepared. Excellent staff,... More

Wonderful dinner ..... great food and personable efficient staff. We sat in the bar area...there are few tables for dinner in the bar as well as the normal bar seating . Food and service is just as good no matter where you are seated. The bar staff went out of their way to assure that we had good service and... More

A friend and I had a nice evening at the Revere Tavern. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the shrimp cocktail and quinoa blue cheese salad. The building is stone and from where we sat, we had a great view of the behind the bar working fireplace--cozy. Food was good, Shiraz was great.

This was our 4th or 5th visit to the Inn. They changed their menu since last September . We were not disappointed. I had the Pan Seared Faroe salmon dish and my husband had the Rosemary Black Tea Rockfish. Both dishes were delicious . The presentation was superb. Even the desserts were great. This won't be our last visit!

A beautiful old tavern with a cozy bar. Michael, the bartender, makes a mean Old Fashioned. Service and food were good. This place is not inexpensive, though. They do have a nice bar menu which is more casual. Well worth a visit.
