Stopped by for Thanksgiving dinner, and was so impressed by the quality of food that was served, and by the friendly and attentive staff. They were more than happy to help with gluten problems, and with my vegetarian diet. The house salad was more than enough for two people, and the wine list was lengthy. This is a place to... More

Very nice place. We attended a cocktail wedding reception here. What I was able to eat was tasty. I recommend the bruschetta! They also have a great pineapple martini!

We were visiting Pittsburgh for a long weekend and saw the reviews and decided to try it out. They were heavily booked and we reserved a table in the lounge the night before, but when we arrived, they found a table for us, so that was nice. The steaks are delicious, but it is like a Morton's, etc., in that... More

We decided to go here on a whim... turned out to be such a great decision! The food was amazing, the service was prompt, and the atmosphere was the cherry on top. Will definitely have to make the trip up again.

Our group has a tradition of celebrating Light Up Night with a special dinner. This year we chose Capital Grille based on previous reviews. Our experience was enjoyable on this busy night. Service was reasonable but a bit perfunctory. We decided to share a number of dishes with good results since the sides are very generous. Of particular note were... More

Ok, I will admit I am a Ruth's Chris loyalist. In order to get a reservation on 11/18 with the light festival ongoing in downtown Pittsburgh I had to be creative on Open Table. Long story short I had a table for 1 on Friday night. The service was perfect and had great recommendations. Traveling a lot as much as... More

The bartender was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive. I had scallops with mushroom risotto. The best risotto I have ever had, the scallops were slightly over cooked and very salty. My friend had the 24 ounce porterhouse. The best porterhouse he's ever had. We will return.

The staff were lovely and accommodating. The food was great - Calamari Appetizer was massive and for sure something to share. I had the filet with lobster - got the gorgonzola rub on it. Hubby and I split the Lobster mac and Cheese as a side. Probably the best lobster mac and cheese we have tried. The lobster was tender... More

My husband and I were in town for four nights. After checking TripAdvisor, we decided to go to the Capital Grille on his birthday. We are so glad we did! Yes, it was pricey, our most expensive meal, but it was by far our best meal. Our server was Rebecca, and she was great. We started with the Lobster &... More
