As others have mentioned, get there early if you want a seat, or try a weeknight (even then, it's busy!) . The menu was fabulous - there were many things I would have liked to try. The BYOB option is awesome - enough said. It...More

Really like the food here. Four of us went for dinner and got there around 5:00 to avoid the crowds which start forming about 6:00. We all enjoyed what we had (lasagna, mortadella pizza, risotto). It's byob, the service is attentive, and the menu is...More

Would highly recommend this place. AMAZING fresh pasta. BYOB is always a great way to control how much you spend on a great meal so I take full advantage and bring a couple bottles of wine!

The pasta here is amazing!!! Every dish we tried (and we tried 4 of them) was delicious! You can tell the pasta is handmade. The pizza was also very good. I had the meat lasagna and would recommend it to anyone.

The place is noisy. Past that, the food is delicious and the portions are generous. The shrimp rissoto was excellent. The porcini was also quite good. BYOB was a great touch

My daughter recommended we go to Piccolo Forno for authentic European wood fired pizza and it did not disappoint. The pizza was cooked to perfection and the ingredients were fresh and delicious. Definitely the best thin crust pizza in Pittsburgh

While visiting Pittsburgh for orientation at Pitt, my son and I decided to go to Little Italy for dinner. We couldn't have selected a better restaurant than Piccolo Forno. From the Panzanella salad to the Quattro Stagioni and Mortadella E Pistachio wood-fired pizzas to the...More

The food at Piccolo Forno has always been excellent. The pasta is wonderful, as are the salads and pizzas. We've been back several times and are always happy with our meals. Unfortunately, they don't take reservations, which means waiting around for your table if you...More
