A perfect French bistro tucked away just outside downtown in East Liberty, you will find all the hallmarks a Francophile could desire: escargot, moulle et pomme frites, lapin, veau, profiteroles, macaroons, ooh la vache! Cozy tables, waters speak French if you like. Reservations are a must as it is a bistro and the locals show up in force. Merci beaucoup... More

Paris 66 has won Best French restaurant in Pittsburgh for the last several years, and there is a reason! First our waiter was ever so French and charming. As our choice for a New Years Eve with friends, Paris 66 lived up to its reputation with classic French food, in a Parisian bistro atmosphere. The filet mignon was perfectly accompanied... More

Not to say that I expected the BEST, most UNBELIEVABLE French restaurant experience in Pittsburgh, PA. However, after a long day with family I WAS expecting stiff cocktails and butter. Butter was plentiful with lovely escargot. The salmon tartare was nice. (Let's just say..at that point of fasting from lunch, I was in total "hanger" mode) I was disappointed with... More

Wife's birthday. Parfait! We dined at 5:30, before the place filled up. "She" had roast duck a l'orange - nicely crisp, with specially cooked potatoes and carrots. I had pheasant, a special that night, with cream-enhanced mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. Our French waitress recommended a wonderful Bordeaux that blended beautifully with both dishes. My wife KNOWS her crème... More

Almost hidden if you are rapidly driving buy, but once there, you will always find a way to return! My second time there, bringing family and friends, our experiences remained outstanding. Not pretentious, however it definitely brings back memories of dining in local Parisian neighborhoods. The hostess is competent, helpful, and unlike many in her position elsewhere , has a... More

Thought I was in Paris, except for the noise level. No problem, but Parisians are very quiet at table. We had a lovely waitress, and service was great, even on this busy Saturday evening. I decided to begin with escargots. My husband chose the soup of the day, seasonal roasted vegetables. It was good, but he did not expect that... More

My husband, oldest daughter and I enjoyed a lovely Sunday brunch. The restaurant is quite reminiscent of Paris. Despite being quite busy, the wait staff was extremely attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the quiche of the day, perfectly poached eggs, chocolate croissant and the creme brulee. We will definitely return on our next trip to Pittsburgh.

The evening was warm enough for us to sit out on their rear deck and have a quiet dinner (we were almost completely alone on a Monday night). Our server was very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. My wife's roasted half-duck was good but not great (she would have preferred a sauteed duck breast but that was not available). My steak... This is an intimate French restaurant. Great to meet for business, fiends or a date. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Lots of Vegan and Gluten-Free menu options. Indoor and outdoor seating. We "happened upon" this restaurant 3 years ago as we were driving through Pittsburgh. We had an over night stay in Pittsburgh September 2016 and made lunch at... More
