Pittsburgh offers up it's own highly-skilled, knowledgeable, REAL coffee shop in the form of 21st street coffee! From the funky industrial atmosphere to the knowledgeable staff, you'll know immediately you've found the mecca for coffee in the 'burgh. Get the pour-over, you won't regret it! Also, don't be offended if the barista recommends you not put cream in that Rwandan... More

My wife and I were walking in the Strip District and found this quaint coffee and tea shop. We really appreciated their cheerful service!

Service is a little slow, but worth the wait. The coffee is fresh, bold and tasty. Those famous coffee chains have nothing on this little shop.

Walking around the strip district on Easter Sunday can be pretty quiet. We were pleased to find 21st Street Coffee open. It's a beautiful spot with brick walls and wood tables. I had coffee and cream, sister had the mocha, husband had the peach jasmine tea. Everything was delicious. If you're looking for sweet drinks like you might find at... More

I visited with two friends. I ordered a latte which is what I get at every coffee shop. This latte was very good and a decent size. I also tried my friends coffee, which was just straight black coffee. This was the best black coffee that I have ever had! It wasn't bitter at all. The interior of the coffee... More

I've been here a few times and everytime it's great! I always try a new blend of coffee or a great pastry while I'm there. If you're in the strip it's worth checking out.

My husband and I stopped here during a visit to Pittsburgh's Strip District. It is a nice looking coffee shop in a renovated warehouse building. It's an attractive space with original brick walls and refinished original wood floors. It could be a great spot, but... ugh...the service was terrible! All we wanted was a cup of coffee to go. Nothing... More

If there is one thing I've learned over the years it's that if you want a good cup of coffee you'll pay about two bucks, but if you want a great coffee then you're looking at closer to four bucks if you're not making it yourself at home. That's just the reality, but also part of the cost is the... More

Awesome coffee in a really cool atmosphere. They serve Intelligentsia along with an occasional guest roaster. I've actually been lucky enough to find Tim Wendelboe (Oslo, Norway) coffee here (which you can find in a very small number of shops in the U.S., Budin in NYC and Mockingbird Hill in DC among them)! This says a good deal about their... More

They serve intelligentisa, pour-overs, great espresso. Spacious area for hanging out. Not as knowledgable as I would have liked but they have the coffee and espresso there and make it well
