Excellent pizza. Now my favorite regular flat pizza and I grew up in Chicago with Uno's Due's, etc. Pepperoni and sausage are really good. I don't know about other dishes. Now has a bar area.

We ordered a large pizza with 2.5 toppings, a small pizza with 3 toppings, three generous side salads and a few beers. After using the ATM because they don't take cards, we were a little shocked that the bill was around $80. Ouch! The waitress was really nice, the pizza was good, but $20 per person is pricey for a... If Pittsburgh values its pizza experience, you wouldn't know it by wasting your money and time at Mineo's. After hearing rave reviews, we decided to try Mineo's. Our wings were so thickly breaded and fried, that eating them was more of a fast food/fried food experience. The pizza was covered in a layer of cheese so thick, that when we... More

Always amazing atmosphere. Way better than Capris or any other pizza joint in the area. The sauce is perfect

I ordered the dinner option of lasagna, which costed me 12.5 dollars. And the lasagna was half frozen half hot when it came to me. That pissed me off since that told me it was not freshly baked. Beside the food quality, the environment of the restaurant is ok.

I actually live in Florida but it is a restaurant that belongs to my family. When my uncle had his wedding down here he had some mailed hot and delicious. I'm actually flying up there for spring break. Exited for pizza!

After not having been to this icon of Pittsburgh's pizza industry (with a pizza shop on every corner), I fear that Mineo's has fallen to the bottom of the cheese trough! During my recent visit to this establishment on Murray Avenue, it is clear that Mineo's is doing a booming business: a new mini-restaurant with bar; the inevitable booming voices... More

I went back to Pittsburgh to visit and I always go to Mineo's pizza it was always the best pizza in town and was where I have great memories. This time the pizza was not the same, we ordered the pizza when it came to the table we all said that's not the same, it was a thick crust and... More

Rice balls, wedding soup, a sandwich, pizza, cannoli… We couldn't stop ordering. The delicious flavors of our food obviously came from generations of preparing and and perfecting family recipes. This local pizzeria has been rated top of the city for decades. We ate on the take-out side and a steady stream of regular customers kept the kitchen hopping. Mineo's also... More

I assumed this would be a regular small pizza from a mom and pop shop. It was I pleasantly surprised when this beautiful pie! A sauce with a very light sweet taste and amazing cheese and those toppings!!!! Great local place where the locals go!
